      Beautiful, shimmery goodness!

      My absolute favourite makeupbag accessory!
If you want a quick shimmer/natural glow then this is the product.
The powder is light and sparkly (and let's face it, who doesn't love anything sparkly!), and it leaves your cheeks with a beautiful glowing look. A real highlight to your blush.
Apply on your cheekbones for a really fresh look. The peachy tones are subtle and on your skin it comes out as more of a silvery shimmer.
The brush applicator is a little awkward; I prefer to use a damp finger as I like A LOT of sheen!
If you want to make your daytime look into a nightime look quickly and easily then sweep some of this on your chops!
the pot comes with a small application mirror in the lid, helping you to perfect your look on the go.
It lasts a good while too! I've had mine for months and use it regularly.
A great little buy from bourjois and I haven't yet found anything that matches up to this illuminating beauty.

A great little piece of make-up

      Oh how I love this!

I bought this product ages ago. I had been using an illuminating cream from No.7 and when I finished that, this was on offer so I decided to see how good it was, and it is brilliant!

So, for those that don't know, basically illuminating powder is designed to use on the face to scult and catch the light.

I was drawn to the powder originally as it was on offer at £5.99 - this might sound quite expensive but a little goes a long way and this will last for ages.

I like Bourgois as a brand and I have never had any problems with any of their products, so I knew that I was basically guaranteed a great product. The pot looks like the same pots that Bourgois sell their famous "Little Pot" eyeshadows in. They are quite classic and look good on the dressing table! The pot is round, with a little button to press to release the lid. On the front it says "Touche Illuminatrice" - Illuminating Touch. It is a peachy coloured pot, and it only comes in one shade, yet this shade can be used on absolutely any shade of skin - it is just up to you how much you use.

As I said, the pot was £5.99 which is an absolute bargain for what you get.

Inside the pot, the lid has a little mirror which is great. It also comes with a little brush that fits in to the pot pefectly. The brush has soft bristles and is curved to fit the contours of the face.

The colour of the set powder is the same as the pot, but it has a beautiful shimmery sheen to it.

To apply, you can apply it to the cheekbones and to the temples to sculpt your face. You can also add some to your browbone and I occasionally put some on my collarbones. The result is a subtle sheen to the skin which does what it says on the pot - illuminates!

It lasts all day, although I will top it off at night if I am heading out.

I get compliments very often when I wear this as it does make my face look more fresh and glowing so it is definitely worth giving a shot.
