This product comes in a little tube with some small leopard print and text outlining the name/colour of the product. On top there is a small mirror which is supposed to provide a way to apply touch ups to makeup during the day but to be honest is a little too small to be practical so probably just adds a little unecessary expense.
This product matches well to my fair skin and as i use the bourjois foundation i found that it blended in very well. The concealer has a high level of coverage and even works quite well around the eyes to cover up dark circles. It is easy to apply, either smudged in with your fingers or directly with the stick. The main quality that i look for in a concealer is it's ability to stay throughout the day without smudging off and having to be repeatedly reapplied. This concealer certainly did the trick, easily lasting the day with minimal wear.
At around £6 a tube, this is in the mid-price range and i would argue certainly worth paying that little bit extra for! The whole bpurjois range tends to be of good value and this is no exception.
concealers can be so hit and miss - they can dry your skin out or be too easily smudged or just look really orange. But I think Bourjois concealer is a really good product. It's mid price range in that if you can't afford to splash out on clinique or something flashy but want a product which actually works and hides dark circles or spots pretty effectively (it's helped me out with both over the years!) As a stick it applies easily and I find that I don't have to keep reapplying throughout the day as you do with some brands thats just rub off, so value for money on that front - it does tend to last well! Also its less messy to apply than say liquid concealers (which also risk leaking!). Finally, it doesn't seem to be bad for the skin wearing it all the time - I've found that some brands can leave areas where you apply it a lot a bit dry/flaky? But not been a problem with this concealer. So a good buy which does the job!
Who will like this product:
Girlies who love the Bourjois range and are on the lokout for a good concealer, with kick-ass packaging.
How much does this product cost:
Okay its pricey for a stick concealer at approximatly £5.49 a pop. However get down to Superdrug at the moment where they are offering 3 for 2 all the complete Bourjois Range.
The packaging is so cute as you would expect from Bourjois. It is a beige colour with a leopard print motif around the writing. On the front is the classic Bourjois logo and the heading, 'Imperfection Concealer.' Another fantastic thing about this product is that it has a little mirror on the top of the lid which is perfect for checkups and application anywhere, anytime. The concealer screws ut like a lipstick and is solid which makes for easy application to the desired area.
I use ths product in shade 11 Beige ivory which is good for fair to olive skin tones, although bourjois do stock a variety of other shades (test on you jaw line before purchase as product must disguise your blemish by blending it into your natural skin tone as opposed to highighting it with a mis-matched shade). Product glide on well and can be rubbed in easily, however i did find this product slightly greasier than some other brands i have tried. This product should suit your personal prefernce as to how you like your makeup to look. This product is excellent in covering dark circle under the eyes and luminates the area achieving the appearance of a younger looking complextion.
A good concealer that does the job intended it used correctly.
