Advantages: Shimmery and a good range of colours

Disadvantages: A bit expensive and wears of quickly

I only wear makeup occasionally and when I do it's usually just to emphasise my eyes a little more or jazz up my lips a bit. I'm also a big fan of the natural look lol! Anyway, I recently thought I'd treat myself to something new for my lips. I wanted something with a hint of colour but I also like gloss too. After browsing around Boots I found Bourjois Effet 3D and it fits the bill perfectly.

I bought colour number 69 which is a light pink colour. When I first saw it I thought it might be too brashly pink, but after putting a sample on the back of my hand with the tester I found it was a very sheer colour. You'd barely notice it was there! I only use a little at a time but if you did want a more intense colour, just build it up some more. This also gives a lovely sheen to lips, not too over the top shiny, just right. It made my lips look soft, sleek and that bit more kissable - I can't think of the word for what I mean lol!

This brand of lip gloss is available in several colours, some very light shimmery ones and more bolder colours too. There's something for everyone. It smells absolutely beautiful, like opening a packet of delicious fruity sweets.
It comes in gorgeous packaging too, a mascara style see-through tube with a gold lid. The only disadvantage is how the gloss oozes out sometimes and gets the packet really sticky. It comes with a wand style applicator with a brush on the end.

As with most Bourjois products it is a bit expensive at about £6 for 6.5ml, but a little goes a long way. However it doesn't take long for the gloss to wear off your lips, it definetely wouldn't last a day. But it is ideal if like me, you fancy a change and want to keep it natural and subtle. I'll definetely keep a tube of this handy.
