This is by far the weirdest mascara I've ever tried. I think it was more made for kids or something.
This product aims to make your lashes increase in volume with no clumps, great stuff, you'd think.
The mascara bottle and packaging looked fine and exactly what you would expect from a brand such as Bourjois. The moment you twist the wand to release the mascara it's then that something doesn't seem right.
Now I know the whole packaging is plastic, but this is kid school type plastic I thought the wand was going to split in two!
The pink stick between the part you hold and the brush was so bendy. It couldn't support even the lashes! There was no way any volume was going to happen.
The bristles of the brush were so small and couldn't catch or coat the lashes at all.
I'm was very shocked that this is part of the Bourjois range and still available, it is now only £2 but I paid, at the time I paid £4.99.
I was first drawn to this product because of it's name, as most women would be, because we all long for voluminous lashes which are not clumpy. However, it is very misleading and does not do this at all. The bristles on the brush are far too small and get clumped VERY easily leaving just the tip of the bristles to apply the mascara with. Because of this, it makes application very hard and even after five or six coats, the lashes look just as they did before without the mascara. I tried using a fibre base coat, and this had very little change on how the mascara came out.It also has a horrible chemical smell to it,which seems to be the way with many Bourjois mascaras. No it dosent clump your lashes, but that is because the brush bristles are clumped themselves. Save your money and opt for another brand. The only positive about this product is the kitsch packaging, which is unlike any other mascara packaging that I have seen before. This product costs abour £6,which is quite expensive for something that dosent even do what it promises.
