*Packaging & Price* The packaging is really cute and gets full marks from me, very modern and stylish! Definetly my favourite packaging for eyeshadow and it looks really good in your make-up bag! The packaging is round and made of shimmery plastic which matches the colour of the eyeshadow inside. The size of the pot is aprox 2cm tall and 4.5cm in diameter. The writing along the top has the brand name and the number of the eyeshadow. The lid lifts up on a hinge by holding down the gold 'button' on the side of the lid. I've noticed that the gold writing doesn't wear off easily like on a lot of other packaging, which is a bonus. Inside the tub there is a ... Read the complete review

I own loads and loads of eyeshadows! I seriously own stacks of them and as my Mother is always quick to point out 'Melanie you only own one set of eyes' lol so it's something I don't really buy at the moment cos I don't need to! However I don't know about other ladies on here but the other day I was in town and I was getting myself a new outfit to go out with the bf in for a nice meal. I treated myself to a new dress and then spiralled out of control buying shoes, then I needed a bag and somehow I convinced myself that I needed new make up! I guess I'm a typical woman when push comes to shove lol. So I went off to Boots clutching my Advantage card and debit ... Read the complete review

I decided to try my first Bourjois eyeshadow after being told my a friend they are made by the makers of Chanel. How true this is I'm not sure but I decided I'd try them rather than pay the hefty price of Chanel. ~Packaging~ These eye-catching little tubs are so pretty just to look at, I like to line them up and just look at them (yes, I really am that sad). Each little pot is coloured the same shade as the eyeshadow inside, so you can tell fom a quick glance which shade you're looking for. This seems a small thing to get excited about but other cosmetic brands such as clinique and lancome have standard coloured packaging regardless of the colour ... Read the complete review

Bourjois Pastel Lumiere Eye shadows are one of those under-rated make-up gems in my eyes. For years I had walked past the Bourjois make-up display in preference of other brands. However, not so long ago I read a magazine article in which a celebrity was raving on about the Bourjois eye shadows, so I thought I didn't have anything to lose by trying them out. ~~Initial impressions & aesthetics~~ Once in the store I was presented with quite a large variety of eye shadow shades, which is rarely a bad thing and each was costing around £5.60, which I believe it pretty reasonable for an eye shadow. You will pay £5 for a Boots No7 Eye shadow and about ... Read the complete review

These pocket sized eyeshadows give long lasting shimmers ranging from subtle pastels to intense greens, blues and blacks. ~Price~ At about £5.50 they arent cheap but are definatly worth that bit extra more than cheaper brands like Rimmel ~Packaging~ They come in sturdy small round cases, the same colour as the eye shadow, which click shut (so no more opening & crumbling in your bag!) They also have small applicators in the case, altho if you lose them im not sure when you can buy replacements. They are a fine size to pop in your bag, without having to worry about leakage or breakage ~Colours~ Theres a wide range of ... Read the complete review
