I own lots and lots of eye pencils, whether they be liquid one's or kohl style and in all different colours. I use them often and lose them often and like many of us I will lose one and then go out and purchase one and up it pops again so in my makeup bag at the moment I have 29 of them lol. No lie.... but the other day whilst in Boots looking at the Bourjois make up and deciding to treat myself to a few items I saw these glitter pencils and fancied getting a couple for nights out on the town.... who doesn't like a bit of glitter eh?!
Long thinnish pencil and it's the colour on the outside the same as the colour you want. So I bought the black and the brown one's so both were the colour I opted for with matching plastic long lids that although the same colour are see-through. In gold writing your told it it Regard Pailette Sparkling Eyeliner, Bourjois Paris and the colour is stated. On the back of the pencil I'm told it is Ophthalmologically tested, contact details for Bourjois are given and the weight/size is stated which is 0.004 OZ. It's a very nice looking pencil with dots of silver colour on it obviously representing the glitter content and it's a nice size too so you get plenty of product for your pennies!
The Pencil Itself:
Well it's incredibly easy to use. When you first purchase it of course the nib is sharpened and your good to go. I like these for so many reasons!
First off you can line your eyes and then use your other products or as I prefer to I like to draw a light line with it to get the shape I want with it and then use my eye colours and then re go over that with a pencil for extra colour intensity. Either way this eye liner is moist enough to not drag the skin and comes off the pencil with ease with no mess or feathering into where I don't want it to go.
It does blunt quickly though and it you want a sharp look you do need to sharpen it rather often but that's easy as the pencil holding the colour is of good, smooth wood and all you need is a good pencil sharpener!
This is really gentle near the eyes too. I can colour in the water line if I want to though just the same as many eyeliners it does wear off rather quick due to said water in the eyes but it doesn't go all bitty and rest in the corners of the eyes.
So you can create a sharp look if you want a thicker look then don't sharpen it!
The colour of both my options is well pigmented, I get an even look and a small scattering of glitter. Once on the eyes it sort of sets on, you can't feel it and it doesn't transfer unless of course you really do rub it!
I really like these eyeliner pencils and I like the subtle hint of sparkle that they give though if you want a really heavy dose of glitter on your eyes you going to have to apply loads of this which to me isn't a good idea. If you use a lot of it, it becomes heavy and thick looking and more prone to smudging.
The only drawback with this is when it comes to removing it. The colour comes away with ease but the glitter spreads everywhere and it takes a lot of work to remove it.
However all in all I like these alot. I like the ease of application, the feel when they are on they eyes (I can't feel them) and I do like a little bit of glitz and glamour and because they don't contains lots of glitter I like to wear these in the day too! Great product Bourjois.......again!
I purchased these in Boots but they arw widely available in 4 colour options priced at about £6.84 a pencil.

One of the best eyeliners I have ever owned! I have the Lagon ensoleillé 36 - the greeny blue coloured eyeliner. It is soft and easy to apply and comes out as bold and glittery as it appears on the pencil. It can create an even more striking and bold look when blended with other eye liners and I often use it with a gold liquid eye liner but in the past have used it with several other colours when I was going to a UV party. It is brilliant value for money and can be bought online from superdrug for £4.25. The only bad thing I have to say about this product is that after having kept it in my makeup bag and using it frequently the plastic lid has split but I have learnt to expect this from most thin plastic pencil eyeliner lids. Overall you really are getting what you ought to expect from this eyeliner from its appearance. Its works and people will notice.
These pencils are possibly some of the greatest eyeliner pencils ever. The one I've tried is the green shade, "Lagon ensoleillé 36", but they are also available in black, brown and pale blue, all with silver glitter.
The green is bright but not garish and it applies really smoothly. I find this looks best and most dramatic when it is part of a simple look. Don't use eyeshadow unless it's for a base that matches your skin tone. Just apply the eyeliner on the top lid close to your eyelashes, and underneath the bottom lashes as well if you like. If you make the line quite thin and only use it on the top eyelid it can add a subtle sparkle to a daytime look. It looks best worn with clothes in complementary colours, or with pink, black, white, or purple for a stand-out look. Using this eyeliner is a great way to feel more glamorous when you're just wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
Because of the glitter I would not recommend applying these to the inner rim of your eye, especially if you wear contact lenses as the glitter will probably make its way into your eye.
This eyeliner holds its colour all day, so it is fantastic value and won't need reapplying.
Glitter eye pencils ; Light up your eyes in dazzling colour with Regard Paillete / The new soft, smooth and supple formula makes these pencils incredibly easy to apply, gliding gently over the eyelid.
