Mascara is my staple make up product, I never leave home without it even if I'm only going to the supermarket! I always have a long battle to find a good mascara and normally when I do the brand then discontinue it or only sell it in black!!
After my usual trip to Boots I looked in the Bourjois stand (which is unusual as I don't normally buy their mascara) to see this cute looking tube and as it was on offer I couldn't resist!!!
I decided on the 'Brun Debride' as I do not wear black as I think it's unnatural to have such dark eyelashes when I have brown hair!
The first few days with mascara is always awful as it has far too much on the brush but after after those 'break-in' days it proved a worthwhile buy! Apparently it has a lengthening complex that deposits fibres on the tips of the lashes. I found my lashes were perfectly seperated and not clumpy and in sections. It didnt feel gloopy when applying it and as long as you do the usual 'work your way up' technique it brings out a lovely doe eye effect. The lengthening mascara comes in three colours :- Noir Fusele, Brun Debride and Bleu Manolo and is available at most Boots, Sainsburys etc but its readily available online at probably more cheaper prices.
The best part about this is that it's so easy to apply, its not gloopy or sticky and stays on firmly all day AND it does not leave those black/brown specs underneath your eyes which some mascaras leave when they start to dry up.
I always take my make up off at night and some mascaras can be tricky to get off and in the morning you are still left with a dark smudge underneath the eyes! Well I have to say I was incredibly impressed at how easy it came off and I didnt get any smudged marks!!! I think it depends on how much you put on but as I go for the casual but plenty look it came off a treat and I will definately be making another purchase soon!!
