      Lovely!

When it comes to my nails I bite them terribly badly. I've tried everything I can to stop over the years but I always revert back to do it and have done it all my life and don't even notice I do it!

Sadly I can't have artificial nails done at a salon because I don't have enough nail of my own to have a chance at keeping nails on and I did once but the nails fell off and I was back every day to the salon and they patched them up but then I got bored and ripped em off in sheer temper and gave up all hope lol!

I do like false nails though. I mean I can't do anything with them on cos I'm not used to owning nails of mine however for a night out and things like that that doesn't mean I need to worry about being restricted by false nails I will happily buy some and apply them myself of course.

Up until recently I always bought cheap nails to be honest and I think they're totally rubbish. They either snap or drop off and some really aren't very polished looking and neatly finished at all etc making them look fake which is why I have purchased a few more expensive fake nails....to see how I get on really and I have to say that sometimes in life you really do get what you pay for and this is a great example cos these are £7.99 a box and I bought them!

      The Packaging:

Light blue and white box and the front 'cover' lifts up and under that there is a see through panel protecting the nails and nail glue. On that front part there is a picture of a hand on it showing the nails and I'm told they are 2 Step Nail Kit 'Sporty Round' and that there is nail art inside and that in total there are 48 nails. Other information on the box includes telling me and showing me through diagrams how to use them, cautions are listed and contact details for Kiss (the manufacturer are given). It's a nice enough box and I like being able to lift the flap/coverup to see the nails before I purchased them so I could see if they suited me before flashing the cash!

      Using Them:

Well open up the box and you pull out a clear plastic tray. In that tray you have 4 sets of nails (40) and 8 spare nails. In there also you have an orange/cuticle nail stick, a large blue file, a tube of glue and a little red bit of plastic with a pin sticking out of it so you can easily pierce the tube of glue of course to use it.

The nails are white, shiny and perfectly in shape. The length given on my box is medium and in my opinion best suited to (along with the short nails in the range) alot for people who like sport and the gym like I do! I don't want long talons just smart one's after all!

The shape of these again is perfect for me. I like the rounded natural look for when I want to go out and I like these cos if I want to wear them to the gym the day after I can!

Applying these is really easy. Apply a small dab of the glue to the back of the nail and press onto your own nail for a few seconds. You can of course push your own cuticle down first if it's mess and/or file the artificial nail before applying it but to be perfectly honest I don't feel the need to do any of that as these simply stick on and cover a multitude of sins anyway!

You can of course paint these (use acetone free nail polish remover though if you want to remove that for any reason so you don't melt the nail!) and in my box of nails I got some adhesive flowers that I can simply press onto the naked nail or onto nail polish.

      Verdict:

I love the shape and the length of these one's and find them ever so easy and comfortable to wear. Bear in mind see I've never owned nails of my own so anything too long and I can't manage!

I found once these were on my own nails they stayed put well for about 4 days. When they started to come off I could of course repaired the problem but by then I'd had enough and was happy to return to my stumps anyway!

I like the finish of these giving a nice, smart look to my nails and I also appreciate the way I can decorate these, paint them whatever. Not a fiddly nail to use either and me, I'd buy these again for the lovely natural look they gave to my hands!

These can be found in all good chemists such as in Superdrug and Boots and I bought mine in Boots and they cost me about £7.99.
