I have only ever bough cheap lipsticks (e.g. Boots 17). I have alays been reasonable happy with them, but as I suffer from dry lips I can't seem to wear them to often. I first experienced Chanel lipstick when I was trying out makeup for my wedding. I went to the Chanel counter as their makeup had been recommended to me by a friend who said that it will last a long time during the day. I've got a great deal of time for Chanel makeup. Sure, it's expensive, but it's so full of pigment that you'll find it lasts much longer than a lot of other brands, even the high end ones. If you're susceptible to dry or bitty lips, then the Hydrabase range is for you. The lipstick really does moisturise, smooth out and plump up your lips, which is something I've not found with many brands. Essential lipstick! This product comes in an array of colours but I only use the darkest reds so demand good colour destiny and coverage which this product certainly delivers. Finding that exact shade of red is never easy and Chanel delivers in droves with this lipstick. Once in place it stays, is durable and does not leave that awful lipstick mark on a glass, cigarette or your boyfriend's collar. The Chanel Hydrabase lipstick is an astounding product that has classy and sophisticated packaging with a product inside that does not fail to impress.
