“ Brand: Chanel „
This foundation is great! I paid approx £30.00 for mine at duty a while ago and I am sold on it. I have quite dry skin and I find that a lot of foundations exacerbate it or leave my skin dry, looking like cracked paint by lunch time!
This product is light reflective so its great for hiding dark circles and imperfections that you don't want the rest of the world to see. It contains a built in SPF which is essential nowadays especially if like me you don't need the added wrinkles. Chanel is a world renound brand and in my opinion excellent quality. It wasn't cheap, but a little goes a long way, it doesn't aggravate my skin if anything I think my skin has improved since using it. I have tried a lot of foundations including alot of high street brands and I find this beats them all hands down.
One of my favourite foundations. I have extremly dry skin on my face and sometimes get patches of psoriasis around my eyes and nose this product is absolutely brillant at disguising this. It is a dream to apply and feels so soft and comfortable on the skin. The range of colours are brillant especially for pale skin like mine and the make up looks natural. For extra coverage on problem areas build up the product with small layers. This stuff lasts and lasts so im not so worried about the price.
I had to make the title of this review the actual name of the make up because I couldn't find it on here! First of all, I have very pale skin, almost ghostly you might say. So buying a foundation is always pretty tough. I also have a tendency towards having really bad skin - acne breakouts etc. Not nice, so I thought I'd go for some really good quality make up, you never know, it might help! I settled for Chanel Teint Fluide Universel 'Multivitamin Natuaral Make Up', sounds healthy and posh. I ordered from Boots.com, (always a gamble ordering foundation over the internet, but I'd just got my first pay packet and I was feeling rich!) I went for the lightest shade - 'Limpide'. I have no idea what that means in french but I hope it's not rude. It was £20 which is pretty steep, but if you consider how much I've probably spent on rubbish foundations in the past it's not that bad! Plus the fact that this is Chanel we're talking about! I recieved my foundation the next day and tried it out straight away. It was (and is) brilliant. I have never found a foundation that matched my skin colour so well! A lot of the ones made for pale skins are sort of pink or orange which just looks wrong. happily. The Chanel people have got the colour to a tee (sort of yellowy but not too much). The texture of the make up is quite silky and it is liquidy (thus the 'fluide') it is really easy to blend and looks really natural (unless you go completely over board with it, obviously) It also feels quite refreshing when you put it on, and it sinks into your skin instead of just sitting on top. I also found that over time my skin got slightly better in the spot department. It covers imperfections well, and because it is a very good quality make up, it lasts a lot longer as you have to use less. Usually I would get through a bottle of foundation in 3 months, but I bought my brilliant Chanel foundation over 6 months ago and still have
almost half left! Basically, this foundation is so so good. I love it, possibly more than I love most members of my family.
A friend recommended this to me after I had complained that Clinique's products were leaving my skin dry. The Chanel advisor was very helpful, taking about 20 minutes to match up the foundation with my skin. The product has a light finish but covers up all those imperfections that you hate! Because it is light it looks natural rather than the caked-on effect that many foundations give. The product has also improved the condition of my skin, I've found that my skin is less dry and I am getting fewer spots. It also has the added bonus of staying put all day. After a day at work it still looks presentable enough for me to go on a night out. Some might say that this is an expensive product at £20 a bottle but I have found that it lasts much longer than any other foundations I've used as you only need a small amount for each application. In my opinion, a good base is worth paying for as it makes the rest of your make up look so much better. I would highly recommend this product.
