Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick ... is my absolute favourite lipstick to ever grace the shelves of a beauty department for it s depth of colour, moisturising properties, longevity and packaging. It even smells better than my other lippies! The Rouge Allure range gives a good strong colour which stays on. The lipsticks concentrate on being shiny rather then having a shimmer which means you see a real depth of colour which is solid without being flat. This is acheived through intense moisturising agents so the product conditions the lips rather than coating them with a greasy layer which can cause them to dry out. Chanel Exceptionnel de Chanel Volumizing Mascara ... received this mascara as a sample from the Chanel counter in boots. I was surprised as they rarely ever have samples that they give away, so I was eager to try the free product. The shade of mascara which received is smoky noir and the tube was enough for a 7 day trial. The mascara claims to volumise lashes, lengthen and curl them without clumping the lashes together. I would agree that the mascara lengthens and volumises, however I have not really noticed any curling effect. However my lashes are naturally curly anyway so that may be why. Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer ... got this while I was on holiday in Barcelona from a cosmetics store in the city centre. I don t regularly shop for makeup from brands like Chanel but like to occasionally treat myself to an expensive lip gloss. I usually get Dior or Lancôme but the Chanel counter appealed to me more on this occasion. The lip gloss was Euro25 which I admit is ridiculously expensive and with the current exchange rate might as well be £25 but I was immediately impressed with this lip gloss.
