Advantages: protects again cracked lips

Disadvantages: none so far

Rooting around in my handbag I came across this ChapStick Apple Apple Lip Balm and when looking into the handbag further I noticed I have three more different flavours too, this is something I always carry around with me as my lips dry out fast in winter and the skin peels and cracks.

This is so handy to have in your bag or pocket or make-up bag and it's only around £1.20 to buy and it's even cheaper if you go to shops like Savers or B&M shops as then you can pick them up for 79p but I like the flavoured ones and this apple one is one of my prefered choices.

It has a twist up action so that you can use a little at a time and the stick is a very pale green colour and it smells of apples and does taste of apples too.

It protects the lips against the cold and frosty weather but is also just a good to use in the summer months as it protects against the UV rays of the sun.

The active ingredients are white petrolatum which gives it that greasy feel to it if you apply to thickly then there is Octinoxate and Oxybenzone which pervent sunburn, chapped lips and protect from the drying effects of wind and cold weather.

Do not use on children under six months old.

It tastes of tangy apple and has moisturisers in it for helping to make the lips soften , it doesn't last all day and has to be applied regularly as it's not very absorbant and stays on the lips so that you can feel it and taste it after use.

If you put too much on you can tell its there as it feels greasy and you then have to take a bit off, but as it doesn't absorb quickly it stays there as a shiled for the weather, stopping it damaging the lips.

When you have this on the lips look shiney and glossy as it's see through and shines them , it doesn't plump the lips but you can see you have it on when you apply it.

It can be bought in most chemists and beauty shops and you can even get it online at Amazon and other places.

I think this is a handy thing to have around and it's easy and convenient to apply, also if you don't feel like wearing lipstick everyday you can use this so that the lips shine and look noticable.

It gets my 10 out of ten vote.
