Christian Dior Eyeshadow looks like a gem amongst all of the other eyeshadows at the make-up counter. The packaging is immaculate: A sleek black square shaped outer casing with the words Dior engraved in gold letters in the middle. A gold plated release button enables you to open the lid. And what a pretty sight once that lid is opened! Another square compartmentalised into five parts containing the eye shadow takes centre stage with applicators on either side. I have purchased a few of these cute dior eyeshadow sets now as I am addicted to the packaging they come in! These eyeshadows come in a cute compact box (however not so compact that you dont actually get much eyeshadow) With two double ended applicator brushes and a mirror. The eyeshadows obviously get quite dusty so if you want to preserve the mirror its important to keep the plastic cover over the eyeshadows that is supplied with the set. Each set comes with five colours which are complimentary to each other. In this way it is much better walue for money than buying the eyeshadows on a solo basis. I was given a small sample version of the 5 colour Christian Dior eyeshadow in the shade 'incognitio' and I've never looked back. This is a very expensive eye shadow which can be very off putting, however it lasts for ages and you get plenty eyes shadow. The compact comes with an instruction leaflet explaining how best to apply the different colours. I can honestly say all the colours are lovely. Usually when I buy eye shadows with multiple colours I only end up using a few of them and the darker colours remain untouched (making me feel like I'm not getting my moneys worth), however I use all the colours in this compact.
