Advantages: Wicked colour; Easy to apply
Disadvantages: Doesn't lengthen or add volume
I've got this Collection 2000 mascara in the exact same colour as the one Dooyoo have put up for their picture. It's a bright blue that I originally brought for a party but have worn it loads since because the colour looks wicked and brings the blue of my eyes out.
It's easy to apply because the brush is comfortable to hold, it doesn't collect mad amounts of mascara and it's easy to remove any excess on the inside of the tube if it looks like there's too much colour on the brush.
The brush itself is quite thin and all this mascara does really is add colour so if you're after a lengthening or volumising mascara then you'll probably need to use a base coat or primer because this one doesn't build up very well.
I did 3 coats yesterday and that's about as much as I'd want to use because it starts to look a bit clumpy, not so much that you'd notice but I reckon if you were to try and build it up more then you'd end up with messy eyelashes.
The colour is gorgeous, it stays just as bright however many coats you put on and is a proper summery blue that looks wicked with blue eyeliner and pale eyeshadow. Like I said, it doesn't make my eyelashes longer or thicker and that's a shame but that's ok for daytime wear. I'd use it at night but would use a primer first to give my lashes some volume and also using eyelash curlers give a bit more of a dramatic effect, not much though so bear this in mind before buying this mascara.
I only paid about £2.99 for it brand new off Ebay and it lasts for ages, especially being as I only use 2 coats each time. It stays nice and creamy in the tube and even when I was going mad for a Maybelline mascara and didn't use this one for about 2 months it stayed fresh in the tube.
