Collection 2000 is a budget priced make up range that has been around for a while and i remember saving my pocket money up to get the odd lipstick or eyeshadow.

As i remember they were not the greatest in quality but with a pocket money budget and being 15 i thought that they were great!

A few months ago i was out shopping in boots and the collection 200 stand caught my attention, i think that this was mainly to do with the dazzling colours and i went to have a peek.

The glam crystals eye liner caught my eye (pardon the pun) as it was so bright and had an array of colours, i was drawn to the green colour as i have red hair and i always found that green eyemake up worked well with my colouring.

What is it -

Glam crystals dazzling eye liner comes in the shape of a mascara tube and has 6ml of product inside, the tube itself is clear so that you can see the true colour of the product through it and has a black lid.

Its available in lots of colours including, black glitter, gold, silver, blue and pink

It claims that it is fast drying and long lasting

How to apply it -

its a gel eyeliner you only need a little amount as its easier to add more than to take it off, it has a very fine precision brush so you can apply it exactly where you want it.


Does it work -

I found that you need to apply quite a bit to get the high pigment colour that it shows through the tube and especially to get the high glitter look.

It is very easy to apply as the brush is fine and allows you a fine application or you can bulid up the coats for a more dramatic look.

Although it claims to be fast drying, i found that i needed to allow it a minute to properly set.

I also found that if you touched the area where it had been applied it felt very rough and there has been the odd occasion where a little bit of the glitter has dropped in my eye and irriatated it.

It did last all day and night though and i found that it was difficult to remove and at times painful as the glitter felt glued on!

It can be purchased in most boots stores, larger chemists and in some supermarkets.

The price range is approx £2.90 in my local chemists.

All in all a good product for a glitzy night out
