Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner

While looking at the makeup in superdrug I noticed something new to me and that was the gel glitter eyeliners by Collection 2000. I checked the price as glitter eyeliners can be expensive sometimes and at roughly £3 I thought this was good value and decided to treat myself.

**WHAT IS IT**

Collection 2000 has a range of gel liners which you can put on with precision. These liners come in different colours and are easy to apply. You add these eyeliners to your eyes to give them extra sparkle.

**PACKAGING**

It comes in a long tube which is made out of plastic. The tube is similar to the one mascara comes in. You can see through the tube so you can see the colour of the glittery eyeliner inside.

To open you screw off the black lid and there is a thin stick with a small brush on the bottom which you can use to put on the eyeliner.

The packaging is rather simple with black writing on the tube to tell you what the product is. There is a white label on the lid and you peal it back to get the ingredients. On the top of the lid there is a round sticker telling you what the name of the eyeliner is.

**INGREDIENTS**

Aqua (water), polyethylene terephthalate, propylene glycol, triethanolamine, pvp/va copolymer, carbomer, acrylates copolymer, polyurethane-11, diazolidinyl urea, methylparabean, disodium edta, propylparabean (+/- Cl 15850, Cl 15880, Cl 17200, Cl 18965, Cl 19140, Cl 42090, Cl 45370, Cl 45410, Cl 47005, Cl 60730, Cl 74160, Cl 77000, Cl 77491, Cl 77163, Cl 77266, Cl 77510)

I am not sure what any of these ingredients are however if may be useful if you are allergic to any of them.

I have very sensitive eyes and tend to get eye infections and I find that this eye liner is kind to eyes and doesn't irritate them.

**PRODUCT**

This range comes in several different colours which have numbers associated with them. They are as follows:

1. Glitz is silvery in colour
2. Pizzazz is a dark rich green
3. Funk is a beige/ brown colour
4. Hustle looks like a silvery blue colour but it also has pink mixed through it. This is the colour which I decided to buy as it goes with a lot of colours
5. Le Freak is a turquoise colour
6. Night Fever is dark blue
7. Rock Chick is black with dark grey mixed through
10. POW which is another blue colour but it lighter than Night fever
11. Shake it up is a gorgeous deep purple colour

What I like about these eyeliners is that the colours are bright and stand out. They are very sparkly as well which I love.

To apply the eyeliner you screw open the lid and use the applicator to apply directly to your eyes. As the brush is tiny you can apply with precision. If you want more of the sparkling gel you just dip the stick back into the tub.

**MY EXPERIENCE**

I feel that this product is good value for money as it is a lot cheaper than alternative gel eyeliners. At roughly £3 I feel that it is worth the money as the eyeliner will last for a long time.

I like the colours that they make in this range and feel like they are very vibrant and bright which I like. They are very glittery which I think it great as some glitter eyeliners have only a small amount of sparkle in them. It means that the eyeliner really stands out and it also lasts for a long time.

Some eyeliners wear off easily this one will last the whole night (unless you rub it off obviously). From my experience it doesn't cake up and look awful.

It has some disadvantages though and that is the brush that you apply the eyeliner on with is not great quality and you can find it hard to get the eyeliner on with good precision. It is small though and you can put a thin line on your eyes but with some other glitter eyeliners I find the brush is better and more manageable.

I have very sensitive eyes and find this product works very well even if I am wearing contacts. Some eyeliners sting my eyes but this one doesn't and you wouldn't even know that you are wearing the eyeliner.

To remove the eyeliner is easy however you will have to take extra care to make sure you have removed all the glitter. If you don't you can find glitter in your eyes for days which doesn't hurt but can be annoying.

Summary: i will be buying more colours in this range
