I originally got my first gel liner as part of a Christmas stocking a year or so ago. I will be honest, I wasn't expecting brilliant results from this Collection 2000 product, as I have tried cheaper gel liners in the past for festive and glam night time looks and they haven't gone on very well, or have fallen off very quickly during the course of the evening, however I was pleasantly surprised.

The shade I had was the turquoise shade, which was really full of glitter and a very attractive shade. Inside the lip of the tube is a thin wand with which to apply the gel formula to the lash-line (or whatever you want it) I usually have quite a bit of difficulty with such brush wands, as they are often very thin and don't give me the precision I would like (I'm not very good at applying liquid / gel liners) however the wand in this was quite sturdy. The gel went on quite thickly, with a good amount of glitter, meaning one coat is enough, although two coats gives you a really show stopping effect. I used this liner at a new years eve bash and still had glitter around my eyes the next morning - and looks great with my peacock style make up.

They are a tad hit and miss in my experience, as I then went out and bought the darker blue shade, which seemed to have less glitter in, so wasn't as much of a striking effect, but still went on just as easily and lasted ages. A good product for a glitzy night out - I will be taking mine to festivals with me this summer.
Works better than some of the more expensive glitter liners on the market, which was a really nice surprise. Worth giving a go.
