It makes the lashes nice and long but it also curls them up, it spreads them out a little too - not too much to cause spider eyes but also not too little as to cause clumps.
It can cause some clumps though but not too drastic that you can't fix it.
You don't need to top it up and it also doesn't smudge if you rub your eyes which is hard to believe I know, since I wore it for hours out at college so it lasts a very long time.

Collection 2000 Lash Defining Mascara is actually hard to find for some reason. I bought it on sale for £1 from boots but it's usually around £3. It comes in a blue tube and the wand doesn't move - may put off many but it still works wonders. I know that this brand may put off people because it's not a huge brand like Rimmel but works just as good - maybe even better.
