I love lipgloss. I carry it around with me all the time in my bag and I apply it throughout the day, so I get through quite a lot. The first law of budget vanity: cheaper cosmetics ranges usually contain one really brilliant product, something that wipes the floor with over-hyped cutesy slap a la BeneFit. The grail may be mascara, nail varnish (Beauty Without Cruelty ? huge bottles, dense colours), or cult eye glitter (arise, Sir Barry M). In Collection 2000, the winner seems to be lipgloss. The standard colours (none of them unwearable) hold their own against glosses three times the price; but I wanted something more.
