So, as I mentioned in another of my reviews, I tried Benefit Highbeam and loved it, well then I discovered these. I own them in Riviera and Maldives and they are both really versatile. Riviera is in fact almost a dead on dupe of Highbeam and is much easier to apply due to it being in stick form. The stick can either be swiped directly onto the skin and then blended out or, as I have found works better, applied using a finger- this allows for greater precision (after all you don't want your whole face to shimmer!). I am glad i'm able to review this product as it's one of the things I simply couldn't live without. I'll admit it, I've had this one for about 3 years...maybe I should replace it by now! OK so why is it so great you ask? Well I don't actually use it for it's intended purpose. I bought it with the intention of using it as a highlighter but I found the finish a bit too shiny for me as I have slightly shiny skin at times anyway. So for the first few months of having this prodcut I figured I had wasted my money, until I had a sudden brain wave! Ages ago, I was looking for a highlighter stick and couldn't find one anywhere. I knew the sort of thing I wanted, but my search remained fruitless for a long time. That was until I came across Collection 2000's 'The Highlighter'. ~About the product~ This is a highlighting stick that can be used on either the face or body.
