When it comes to buying mascara I always find it a bit of a minefield with all the different brands, formulas and colours and of course prices! The other week I needed a new mascara and so off to Boots I trotted and I decided price wise to go middle of the range cos it isn't something I wear very often but still when I do I want it to be ok and long wearing of course and I paid £4.99 for the only size this is available to purchase in which is 9ml. The Packaging: This comes in a long and rather thick black plastic tube with a metallic pink twist on/off lid/cap/applicator to the top of it and on the very top of the lid there is a colour ... I got this mascara for about £4.99 last year (2010) from Superdrug to replace my old 'going out' mascara. I was drawn to the product thanks to its attractive packaging and the promise of adding some volume to my lashes but I was sadly disappointed. The mascara really does nothing more than a standard mascara does. The 'volumising' brush does make it nice and easy to apply but you have to go over your lashes 2-3 times before you see any results. The tube has a nice pink and black design and does look very girly. When applied, the mascara does make your eyes look really nice. I stopped using this mascara for going out make up and started using ... Read the complete review

I'm usually a maybelline girl, but I received this mascara as a gift and thought I may as well give it a go and see what it was like. If I'd have liked it enough I may have switched to it permanently as its a fair bit cheaper than my usual Maybelline waterproof mascara. Unfortunately, it just wasn't up to scratch and I won't be saving that money in the future! The design of the bottle is probably the best thing about this mascara. Its black with a pink/purple lid, a nice pattern of interlocking circles and an unusual font for the product name. Its a shame what's inside doesn't really live up to the promise of the outside. The mascara goes on ... Read the complete review

I bought this mascara but in the waterproof version, so it's in a blue tube rather than a pink one :) I have tried many different highstreet branded mascaras, from more expensive brands such as benefit and urban decay, right down to the very cheapest from the natural collection at boots. Testing such a wide selection of these products has led me to conclude that a more expensive product doesn't necessarily mean a better one, as the natural collection one was my favourite before i tried this. Although happy with my old mascara, I like to try out new products, and after looking through the reviews here on dooyoo, i decided this mascara would be a safe bet. ... Read the complete review

Having pale auburn hair I look as if I don't have any eyelashes & must admit that due to maturing years (I seem to lose more lashes each day!) so a must-have for me has always been mascara. I have tried dozens of different brands with varying results & am always on the look out for a good product with a reasonable price tag. A couple of weeks ago in my local chemist I spied a dump basket full of goodies including a few Collection Volume Sensation mascaras (black)which had been reduced from £3.49 to £2.09 & as they were sealed I decided to give one a try - I was so impressed I later went back but unfortunately they'd all been sold.
