Advantages: Price, waterproof

Disadvantages: Clumps

I've been using this mascara for a while, mostly because it's fairly cheap! I would love to be able to test out the posh brands, but hey, I'm a student so rent and food comes first!

This mascara is from the Collection 2000 which can be brought in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco etc! It seems to be a bit of a teenager brand! I'm not insulting anyone here, except whenever I'm buying my makeup, the Collection 2000 bit does seem to be surrounded by 13 year olds.

I go for the waterproof mascara for 2 reasons: anything can set me off in tears, and I walk to uni even in the rain! So clearly waterproof mascara is the way to go. Since the brand has done it's change of packaging, the tube has changed since the picture at the top of the page. It's a pale blue tube, which gets wider at the lid end. In darker blue lettering is "Aquamax" and "totally waterproof mascara" written in smaller lettering along the length of the tube, and the brand name at the top, just under the lid. At the top of the lid is the usual sticker with the shade on there.

Claims:
This claims to give 4 x more volume. I wouldn't really agree with this. I haven't found it to be any more volumising than any of the other mascaras I have used that haven't made that claim.
Also, it says it is 100% waterproof. Well I can't disagree here because I've not had any panda moments, so that's got to be a good thing. And the good thing is that it comes off easily with makeup remover.
Fragrance free: I'm confused, do other types of mascara have a fragrance???

I have found this mascara does clump quite a lot though, and it's not like I've even had this tube for a long time! I could understand if it was fairly old, but it's not! Putting it on takes quite a while by the time I've been making sure I don't have clumps on my eyelashes. It collects around the top too...

This brand is the cheapest I have seen, and the mascara is priced at only £1.99 which is drastically different to all the other types that are around £6-8!

In conclusion I think I will stick with this one, until I can either afford to test other brands, or I find a brand that definately doesn't clump loads...

Summary: It's ok. I'll use it until I find one that doesn't clump

I find the maybelline one doesn't clump, and its kind to eyes as well. I have even gone swimming with it on :)
