“ Brand: ColourWorks / Type: Lipgloss / Suitable for: Lip „
*I actually suggested to review "Colourworks Lipglosses In General" as I have a few different types of gloss from this range so that is what this review will be based on. I think a few of the ones I own are actually the same as the glosses in the image.*
I got around 5-6 Colourworks lipglosses in a set from my mom last Christmas in a range of different styles and colours. Four of the glosses are in tubes like the image but one is a longer tube with a wand applicator so my review will be based around both of those. To be honest Ive never seen any Colourworks product being sold individually but if you keep your eyes peeled around Christmas you may be able to get them in large sets for quite cheap so you might be able to get a bargain.
I have 5 different colours of this gloss which include: A silver/white shade which actually goes on clear, a pale pinky nude, a tinted pink/red colour, and two very simliar plum shades which is a colour I wouldnt normally wear as its too dark but in this case I do wear it quite a lot. Regardless of wether you own the wand gloss or tube they are both super easy to apply. The tubes have a slightly angled end so you can be more precise and the wand is soft and spongy making it super easy to glide it across your lips and it goes on very evenly and it supe glossy.
I personally like all the colours I own and would wear all of them although obviously girls have their favourites and in this case it is the pink/nude gloss and the pink tinted one as I think lighter lip colour suit me better and I just really like the colour they leave on my lips and when you wear as much make-up as I do you need something a little more natural on your lips. The pink/nude shade is the only shade that leaves a proper block colour on your lips as the rest of them go on clear with a coloured tint depending on what shade you use but the colour isnt as bold or bright as you first expect. I if anything prefer it that way though as I dont want bright purple block coloured lips - I dont think that would be a good look on anybody however clear lips with a slight plum tint can look really nice.
This gloss goes on really easily and isnt too sticky or runny just the right consistency to look super glossy without looking really wet or looking like your lips are made from sticky tape. This has a really nice texture to it and does feel very moisturising and hydrating on your lips so its hard to find a bad thing to say about this gloss. I have to knock a star off though because it is too hard to find and if you like it you will be annoyed when you can find it anywhere.
I recommend if you can find it but be prepared to search! Thanks For Reading
