For most women looking good are extremely important and for a chic and flawless finish, Avon has now created the Colour Optix Dimensional Lip Colour range for the 2002 spring and summer seasons. It is an interesting new concept from Avon for lips colouring. It reminds of the Pearl Center at Tenerife. The Lipstick is applied as you would a normaly but the effects on the lips are spectacular.
The glittering particles create a rich, lustrous and almost pearlescent sheen to the lips. The colours enhance the lips giving a luscious, smooth kissable line. The change in the light makes the lips look constantly tempting! I really love this lip cover against my sun tanned skin. Elixir, a lilac colour looks lovely and I have had many positive comments about this colour.
**Colours**
Bean: A bronze brown colour.
Destiny: A silver brown colour.
Elixir: A lilac mother of pearl colour.
Mirage: A coppery cool colour.
Rapture: A slightly lighter bronze colour than Bean.
The colours do not look overly inviting in their lipstick containers, but believe me that all changes when applied to the lips. I feel that the pearlized colours would look beautiful for any bride on their wedding day.
**Feels**
I like the feel of this lipstick on my lips. The Colour Optix Dimensional Lip Colour moisturises my lips without making them feel over greasy. The staying power before re-application is three to four hours. It can be used on the lips as a lipstick or as a topcoat to lighten a darker colour.

Avon Colour Optix Dimensional Lip Colour costs £5.00 each. This is not really exceptionally expensive for such a versatile lip colour.
