Lipstick. It gets everywhere. Well unless you want to pay over £5 or more for one of those "we promise we will stay put!" types that dont always fufill the amazing promise of "12 hours lasting non transfer color!" Ive been through a few of these, mainly smeared by children onto walls and such, and now I refuse to pay more than £3 for a lipstick, regardless of the promise of longevity! Quite honestly they never seem to do those lipsticks in black either.... That said with cheaper lipsticks come the hassle of lipstick glasses & cups, all over your loved ones collar or other places (if they are lucky!) and quite often its these stains that can often lead to trouble - in more than just a laundry sense ;) I saw this little 7ml bottle of clear liquid on a market stall for just a £1 a few years back, and can honestly say I try to keep it in! The bottle (and containing liquid sealant) are clear, colourless. It reminds me a lot of nail varnish in some senses. Opening the bottle gives you a wiff of the contents, and the smell is a lot like bubble gum! The liquid has the same viscosity of water and dries real quick. The first sensation I get is a slight tingle on the lips on first application, and if you put your lips together too soon it feels "sticky" but that passes within about 30 seconds leaving a non visible barrier that really does the job. The longest my lipstick has stayed in place with this product was close to 10 hours! *dark colours do not taint the liquid if you put the brush back in - however you may want to rinse the brush briefly if your wearing very dark colours* Prices vary, from a shade under a pound if you are lucky, to around £3, but that said you can get quite a few applications from 1 bottle, so even if you paid £5 for it you would most definitely get your moneys worth.
