I just got delivery of this mascara and really love it. I couldn't find it anywhere in the UK, so bought it from the US ebay. I paid £3 plus postage, so thought it was a good price as Maybelline and similar mascaras cost more than I paid for this Covergirl one including postage.

The full name is Lashblast VOLUME blasting mascara, they also do one for lengthening which is a yellow tube, so you won't get them confused.

It comes in a sealed pack with a lid on the actual mascara tube and the brush on display, which I liked as you can see the actual brush, bristles etc before they are coated in the mascara. You just throw away the lid when you open it and use it like a normal mascara from then on.

Colour choices are Very black, black, black brown and brown. I chose black brown as it is dark enough to give you a great look, and not as harsh looking as the black alone.

This mascara gives you instant volume and fullness, is smudge and smear-proof, hypoallergenic and suitable for contact wearers. Covergirl says 'Its patented volume-boosting formula and patent-pending brush max-out every lash, leaving you with the ultimate big lash look.'

It gives a very good look, is not at all clumpy or 'heavy' on your lashes like some volume boosting ones. I am really fussy about mascara, (love my Blinc mascara but it's not volumising) and was sick of spending money on ones that I hated as soon as I put them on, but this one is a keeper, and I would buy it again. The thickness is just right, even with one coat, and even though it is volumising rather than lengthening, the lengthening effect is good too.
