So I'm a long time Bare Escentuals mineral foundation devotee but have been increasingly unhappy with how matt my skin appears when wearing it - I thought perhaps a liquid foundation would be the answer to my problem and tried a couple of brands, not getting on very well with either. Then I saw Daniel with this on QVC, and having read so many good things about his products thought I would take the plunge. It was priced at £22 for 25ml.
I was a little bit nervous as I always am with foundations as I am so extremely pale! Daniel assured the fairest option would be suitable for even the Nicole Kidmans of the world though.
It has arrived today and it is a half-success! The glow is stunning, my skin looks lit from within and this is exactly the finish I was after, the only downside being the coverage - it certainly is not as full as Bare Escentuals, though he never claimed it to be. The shade though, though it certainly warms up my complexion is fine.
The concealer in the lid is very good, beautifully pale and goes on smoothly so I think what I need to master is mixing the foundation and concealer together like Daniel advises and see if that gives me the slightly heavier coverage that I prefer.
