“ Brand: Dermablend / Type: Foundation / Texture: Cream / Dermatologically tested: yes „
I found that when i bought the cover creme it covered but was too pale for me even though im very pale. so i would say be careful and get testers before you buy the full version .
anyway it was stuck in a drawer for a while and i only took it out when i had a allergic reaction and my face was covered in little red bumps. i put it on as i would concealer and then put my foundation on top and it covered it all.
its really brill when used as a concealer i have pretty bad acne ,acne scars and sensitive skin and it covers everything and doesnt break me out .
more about the product
its a creamy quick thick cream . you have to scrape a small amount with the tiny spatula provided and the put it on your hand and rub in with your finger to warm . then apply to face .
Covers spots and scars easily .
Doesnt clog pores
I find it doesnt cover dark circles that well
Can tend to give a dry look to blemishes.
if you are going to use as a foundation, please try to use the dermablend setting powder because other powders can give an orange tint.
i have stopped using this because it eats up my foundation and you can see the dermablend throught the foundation.
For anyone who has less than perfect skin, this is a highly effective concealer.
Its recommended by both dermatologists and plastic surgeons for its effectiveness and perfectly hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic formula.
It can be used to conceal vitiligo, hyperpigmentation, and acne to name a few but I use it to conceal scars.
My skin is scarred with lots of red blemishes from when I had bad break outs and didn't leave them to heal like I should have :)
I used to use Rimmel hide n heal because thats all I ever needed but as my skin worsened, I found it wasnt doing the job anymore.
My mum is involved in the beauty business and had a sample pallet of all dermablend shades, so I pinched it! Turns out its brilliant at covering up scarring so Im glad I did, sorry Mum!
Its got a really waxy consistency and if applied correctly it doesn't budge.
Sometimes I have to use different shades depending on what make up Im wearing or if Im wearing fake tan or not, but its really easy to blend to get the perfect shade for your skin tone.
Its a heavy duty concealer but it doesnt give you that caked on look - again, if you apply it correctly (using really light tapping movements) then your skin can look flawless. Its water resistant so you cant remove it effectively with water based cleansers. Comes off easy enough with wipes or cleansing cream though.
As anyone who has ever had dodgy skin will tell you, it can leave you feeling really under confident, so this has been a bit of a lifesaver over the years.
Got to say its not cheap (around £12 for a pot of the cream)
