Dior Diorshow Waterproof Mascara

I decided to buy Diorshow mascara after a friend of mine let me try her non-waterproof version. One thing I noticed instantly was the brush shape: it's quite oversized and bushy and looks a bit strange, but it really did the trick of separating lashes and adding volume. So another day, just before my birthday party, I went to Debenhams and treated myself to the waterproof version (in brown, if that matters). It cost me around 18 pounds. I purchased this mascara after recieving a free dior 'goodie' bag with some perfume at Christmas. In that free bag it had the normal dior show mascara and not the waterproof one, but I loved the way it may my eyes stand out. However it was no good in the rain or when swimming - which I do alot. So I popped down to my local boots and spoke to the over perfumed dior, over oranged counter assistant who despite looking as if she knew nothing about make up really did know her stuff. I asked for this mascara after reading the great reviews on it and so far I haven't been impressed. The mascara is in a black tube which has silver lettering saying dior on one side, and then lettering in the black side stating the name 'DIORSHOW'. The brush is abnormally large and takes some getting used to as it can be quite hard getting to all your eyelashes. The mascara itself is nothing special and was no real improvement on the Bourjois mascaras I'd been using beforehand. Dior Show is actually my favourite Mascara, and believe me ive tried a lot! I have long dark eyelashes anyway however after applying Dior Show people assume im wearing fake eyelashes. I bought it once whilst shopping in the airport...as you do....before my flight not thinking it would be the best purchase all year! I was honestly shocked at the quality and how long it lasts, but is easy to take off with most make up wipes or removers which is strange as its waterproof so if you do wear it near water, or to a girly tear fest movie you'l be ok. This mascara looks really extravagant and luxurious....but do not be fooled by its lovely exterior! It really is on a level with many other cheaper mascaras such as Maybelline! The only thing maybe that sets it apart is that it has that massive big applicator brush! It's so big and bushy so it really gets in between each individual eye lash and plumps them up What I have found though, is that the brush is so big that once you apply the mascara your lashes look quite clumped together so i prefer to use this product in conjunction with another mascara.
