Advantages: great colour, lovely packaging, lovely smell and feels silky

I have been blessed with skin so pale that every imperfection, no matter how small, stands out like a beacon on my face. When i was younger i used to wear a pressed powder and it had to be the lightest possible shade possible, even then i would still look like i had been coated in fluorescent orange paint. so i took to wearing no foundation at all for about 8 years.

That's where this foundation is amazing. I was in boots one day and i saw that it was on special as it had just come out. i put my finger into the test pot and i was really surprised. It actually is a mouse, you feel like you want to pop in a spoon and start eating it. it feels light and silky to touch and not greasy or like paint.

I am using the lightest shade which is IVORY 010 and it is lovely.
Because the foundation comes in a pot you can get as much as you want out by just dabbing your finger onto the top. And because you can use the whole tip of your finger to apply it you don't end up with a big lump of foundation that you have to spend ages trying to spread evenly around.

The pot itself is lovely and you feel like you are putting on a rather decadent face cream rather than a make up product. It is distinctive in shape (for easily locating in your handbag) and the perfect size.
I think i paid £5 for it on special and it should be about £7 or £8 but i think that that is very reasonable for a product of this quality.

on the skin it feels like a silk rather than a mask and it highlights the different tones of your own skin rather than trying to cover them all up and make them look the same. I feel fresh faced and not weighed down by it at all.

It lasts pretty well and i wouldn’t reapply it on a night out, it also comes off nicely with cleanser and you don’t get that feeling of "oh wow my face can breathe again" when you do take it off because you feel like it can when you are wearing it.

Good value, great product. Brilliant!
