Advantages: Nice smell

Disadvantages: Oily

I heard about ELF and I needed a new concealer (concealer is the staple of my make up kit) so I thought I'd try this one out. It is OK.. But I find that is is super oily. I have a normal/oily complexion and I always have blemishes of some sort so finding a good concealer is quite important to me. The last concealer I had was great and I had it about 4 years! (embarrassing, as you're only supposed to keep make up for 6 months!). This product can be used as foundation/concealer or eyeshadow base, but from using it as a concealer I definitely wouldn't use it as a foundation on my whole face, because I'd be shiny from the off! It would probably make a good eyeshadow base if you put some light powder on after it but before your eyeshadow because I can't stress enough how oily it is. The coverage is OK, but it doesn't completely cover spots and blemishes how I'd like them to be covered. I read a review on this website about it and someone said they didn't like the orangey scent... I like it! It smells to me like apricot and I think it's lovely to have a make up that doesn't smell horrible!

Overall I'd say that this product is what you pay for... OK coverage but far too oily to be used for mass coverage.
Also, after having it about two weeks I had trouble pushing it out one day and the whole thing came out! It was a very messy job fitting it back in and now it's a bit lumpy on top (I like things to be perfect).

Summary: An OK concealer, wouldn't recommend as a foundation.
