About two thirds of the way down is a silver metal piece which is used to hold the bristles in place with these sticking out the top. The bristles are soft and yet full with one end long which tapers downwards at an angle which is good for getting a small amount of blusher over the cheekbones. I used this with ELF's budget blusher and have ...more

E.L.F. Blushing, Bronzing & Blending Brush: Another Brush . . . Another ELF Review! (644 words)

In the same predicament as my last ELF brush review I had a face brush in my basket but needed something smaller for more precision blusher applying and so I stuck in a blusher brush to my ELF order during a 50% sale taking this from it's already tiny £1.50 down to a miniscule 75p which I think is excellent value. I had nothing to loose by trying it to see if it worked for me. Previously I used a smaller rounded brush which was okay but didn't give as much definition to my cheek bones and looked as if I had applied a stripe along my cheek bone which wasn't very natural at all. Perfect for precise application, not for blending (184 words)

I bought this due to its angled shape, in hope I could use it for contouring. This brush is soft now that it has been washed, but initially it was slightly scratchy, and very easy to hold and use. I would not recommend using this for contouring, mainly because it is not dense enough and product will go everywhere but instead to apply blush or highlighter to a specific area. I would then recommend to blend using a denser brush or a kabuki. The brush is affordable at £1.50 from Eyeslipsface.co.uk so will not break the bank. I would recommend though that you pay £2 more and try the Studio Line instead as the brushes are better quality. If ...  Read the complete review

I usually buy my eyeshadow primer from E.L.F and so on my most recent visit to the online shop I thought i'd buy some makeup brushes, at only £1.50, thought i'd give it a try. I went for this particular brush because I noticed the way the brush was designed at an angle, I thought this would be perfect for contouring my bronzer and blusher. When I first received the brush I was excited to use it, it was the perfect size and the angled brush looked just as it does on the website. The product came in a plastic case which I thought was good as it could be kept clean in the plastic cover within my makeup bag. The brush feels very soft, almost too soft. I thought ...  Read the complete review
