As a recent convert to the E.L.F. website, one of my recent purchases was an array of makeup brushes, one buy being this eye shadow brush. Although I like to wear makeup, I rarely buy brushes tending instead to use the fiddly little foam applicators that come in eye shadow compacts, however, on this occasion I thought the £1.50 cost more than justified this extra purchase. The brush comes neatly packaged in a translucent plastic wrapper. Once taken out, it looks pretty standard in size and shape to any other eye shadow brush. The brush measures just under 14cm from end to the tip of the bristles and features a soft pearlescent white body which is imprinted in ... Read the complete review

Recently I decided to treat myself to a few new make-up brushes. Not because I actually needed them but I did think I should have a stock up of them as they are products I use almost daily and the whole reason I was up for spending my cash on e.l.f.com was because I had a 50% off everything on the site at the time (and postage and packaging is only ever £3.50 per order no matter the amount you purchase!). For anyone who isn't aware of what e.l.f is, its beg the question where have you been? For anyone who wears make-up you should know of it because its an online cosmetic company that is dirt cheap and offers incredible value for money along with ... Read the complete review

I have placed an order on www.eyeslipsface.co.uk some time ago because I really wanted to try their mineral lipstick. While I was easily surfing trough their lovely website I became tempted on a few other products, as at small prices they wore selling them from I could not resist the temptation in trying on their Eye Shadow Brush. This company has a complete range of brushes that cost £1.50. They also have another range of brushes from the Studio collection each at £3.50. However the basic elf Eye Shadow Brush really grabbed my attention in particularly due to the bristles shape shown in the picture. My parcel has arrived really quick from this ... A while ago while browsing through E.L.F's website I found this eyeshadow brush and thought I might "need" one. It cost of course £1.50 as most of the products on eyeslipsface.co.uk do so I popped it into my basket along with a few other items. Anyone who doesn't know about E.L.F should have a browse to see what they're missing out on, cheap make up that's good quality and in these hard times that's an essential in my mind! Usually I use a defining brush as I like to put eyeshadow into the socket line but I find a defining brush isn't great for applying eyeshadow to the lid or anywhere else except the socket so I thought this brush would ... I'm well aware that you often DO get what you pay for, especially where makeup is concerned, but having bought a relatively pricey (although I got it discount) Hard Candy brush set I wasn't that happy with, I decided that it would be worth a try to buy some of Elf's cheapo brushes. If they're terrible, I've only lost £1.50 each, after all. If you're not familiar with Elf, they are a company which has crossed the pond from the States and provides budget makeup essentials for just £1.50 per item. Okay, so we're not getting QUITE as good a deal as our American counterparts, they're even cheaper there, but a good deal I think you'll agree, and worth an ... Read the complete review
