 ... own that either don't have an applicator or aren't really suitable for applying with a finger. As I like them, I thought £1.50 wasn't a lot even if it was for a brush dedicated just to them. The brush was okay, not great, the point did tend to gauge holes in the product but it applied it so that's the main thing. The bristles are exactly like an artist's paintbrush, but personally I'd prefer water/gloss/gunk-friendly bristles more like a concealer brush. Turns out I was right to think that. I bought one of these brushes some time ago as part of my Elf experiment - can their products really be any good even though they're £1.50 each? Well, for the most part yes! However, even though I love some of their other brushes, this particular purchase was not a good one. The lip defining brush is the same design as all of Elf's brushes - a plain white handle stating what type of brush it is and bristles held in place by a metal band. Simple and practical rather than high class, but that's the kind of gal I am! Like many lip brushes, it had a stiff point when I got it. (Note the word "had", it will crop up later).
