... shade 'nicely nude'. I do like some brighter and bolder colours but I personally would never purchase such shades without seeing them in person first (this one disadvantage to only being able to buy online) so I stuck with someone I felt was a much safer option, a soft, pale and natural looking rosy fleshy shade. The lipstick is housed in a black plastic rectangular casing pretty much as you'd expect from a lipstick. On the top is the E.L.F logo and along the bottom 'eyes lips face' is written. The base of the li...more

I bought the ELF mineral lipstick a while ago when placing an order online. I didn't really need another lipstick, but was intrigued by this being a mineral product, as all mineral make-up I've used in the past has been powder. ==About the product== This lipstick is described by ELF as containing 'a nourishing blend of exotic oils, natural waxes, vitamins and plant extracts'. It is 100% mineral based and they say it contains no parabens, preservatives or chemical dyes. The product not only delivers colour but moisturisation to the lips. Amongst the ingredients are jojoba oil, coconut oil, castor oil and shea butter, all of which are known ...  Read the complete review

If any of you regularly read my reviews you will know that I recently discovered www.eyeslipsface.com.uk, otherwise known as ELF cosmetics. For any of you that haven't read my review on that please feel free to have a look. Anyway back to the point, one of the products that I purchased in my first elf haul was the elf mineral lipstick. Now I am not the biggest fan of lipstick and tend just to wear a coloured lip gloss but after reading what elf had wrote about the lip stick and the fact that it was a steal at only £3.50 I thought I would have a change. WHAT E.L.F SAY "Now you can hydrate your lips and get a lasting soft colour naturally! ...  Read the complete review

As many of you will know by now I am a huge fan of E.L.F products and of course in a sale I am uncontrollable and buy a ton of various products. During the 50% promotion a few weeks ago I purchased one of the mineral lipsticks. Being so happy with the foundation I thought this should be pretty good and therefore I gave it a shot. *~* Price and Availability *~* These are available from the E.L.F website in the UK (www.eyeslipsface.co.uk), however in America it can be bought from various stores as well as online websites for around the world. It can definately be picked up but just to mention in addition to keep a look out in TKMaxx as sometimes the ...  Read the complete review

I recently discovered E.L.F and decided to try there mineral lipstick as i've heard so many positive reviews. I decided to only get one to start, to make sure that I actually lliked it and it was of good quality, although at just £3.50 per lipstick I was tempted to get more but decided against it - better safe than sorry! There are sixteen shades available from nudes and browns to scarlet red's. I decided to get 'Ripe Rose' which is described by E.L.F as 'Light scarlet red with gold shimmer'. The swatch looked perfect for me so I was quite dissapointed when the lipstick arrived - it was much darker in colour than it was shown on the website - almost a deep cherry. ...  Read the complete review

Over the years I have gave up completely on the big and fashionable cosmetics companies in the favour of using products with more natural ingredients. Is quite strange because I still enjoy going to Boots or Debenhams from time to time to look at cosmetics and test them, but I never buy them anymore, I look at the ingredients and see many pointless fillers and complicated substances that I know are more trouble then they worth plus not too mention over prices. In my search for more natural cosmetics I turned to the internet based companies. I like to keep up with the latest products and so I came across one day over the www.eyeslipsface.co.uk who are selling ...  Read the complete review
