“ Brand: E.L.F. / Type: Toe Separators „
I have always struggled to paint my toe nails so I decided it was about time that I purchased toe seperators that separates the toes to prevent the nail polish from smudging. They are made from foam so feel very soft and make it easy to fit between the toes. There toe seperators are blue which isn't my favourite colour but its nothing offensive!
The toe seaperators are very light and small so they are easy to store, this is an important factor for me because i have tons of nail stuff including shellac so I'm running out of space in my nail polish bag! The nail seperators cost £1.50 which is a reasonable price, I wouldn't expect to pay too much more as they are such a simple foam design so they cannot cost a lot to make.
The seperators are very easy to use, you fit your tea between the seperators which holds the toes apart in order to make nail polish application much easier. The seperators can be used time and time again, I tend to throw them away when I have managed to ruin the look of them with a lot of nail polish ( I am incredibly messy, that is why I need one of these !)
Although I wear thong flip flops half of the year, I must admit I do find the toe seperators quite uncomfortable between my toes, yes they are soft but i hate the feeling of it between my toes.
Despite this it is bare able and i do still use the toe seperators as it really helps me apply my nail polish.
Overall, this Is a great product, if I didn't hate the feeling of things between all of my toes ( like toe socks) I would give it 5/5 stars, but its well Roth of a respectable 4/5 as its cheap and easy to use!
I bought these a while a go for £1.25 online and they are something I didn't really use a lot, I have to be honest and say I used them twice and found that it is easier for me to just grab hold of a toe to paint the nail than to fiddle around with trying to ge these E.L.F. Toe Separators to stay in place.
These are made of a foam and I found they wern't as flexible as I'd have liked them to be, I'm not really comfortable with these fitted between my toes as they annoy me as I can feel they are there and they slip sometime when you have to move around to paint your nails so that I have to keep adjusting them back into place as I'm doing my nails, which for me it's much simpler to just paint my toes nails without these on.
They also can't be washed so this also puts me off as they aren't very hygenic to keep for any length of time if your using them regularly on your feet.
On the other hand they seperate the toes nicely and when you can get them to stay in place you can paint the nails without getting the nail polish on to the skin of the other toes as your doing them one by one.
All in all I think they should have different sizes for the different sizes of feet that we all have, but I only found the one size and so for me this product isn't something I will be buying again and is one that I have used twice and then discarded.
ELF recently had their last ever 50% sale so I took advantage of this and stocked up on a huge amount of cosmetic goodies.
I got these toe seperators because they were only 75p (reduced from £1.50) for a pack of two (one for each foot! Their isn't a huge amount that I can say about these, really. They're a pretty shade of light blue and are made out of a nice, good quality foam which is soft to the touch and very lightweight. Each toe seperator has four holes where your toes go, your little toe sits on the outside of it if that makes sense, lol.
The holes are a good size and securely stay in place and they keep my toes comfortably seperated. The idea of the toe seperators is to keep your toes seperated a little further than usual and it also keeps them nice and steady while you apply nail varnish, which makes application more precise and avoids any smudging. They can also be used when you're massaging your feet and want to massage each toe seperately, haha.. there's a few different uses for them really!
These are nice and soft due to the foam material and it isn't uncomfortable when I am using them. They're also quite flexible rather than stiff which I find quite handy as I don't have to keep my foot in one position. I wouldn't advise using them in the bath though incase you get them wet (due to the foam material). The toe seperators successfully keep my toes apart and although the material is soft, flexible and comfy, it is also pretty strong and durable.
The only downside to these toe seperators is that if you get nail varnish on them you can't wash them as I doubt they'd survive being washed in the sink as obviously because they're foam they'd absorb water and take ages to dry. That's probably the only downside, although it's a bit of a shame that there isn't a more variety of colours to choose from - there is only blue. These are just average toe seperators. Nothing special, but I can't really fault them.
Overall, because these are so handy and do the job of keeping my toes seperated making nail varnish application mess-free, I give them 5/5 Dooyoo stars. I know that this is a short and sweet review due to the nature of the product, but I've mentioned everything that I can think of!
I am a trained beauty therapist and trained as such not to need these and never have unless on myself lol. However on my own toes I need as much guidance as possible as to be honest! Ages ago now I put in a few orders with the very economical site (Elf.co.uk) and these were an item that I ordered and to this day still use so mine are actually a good year old now at least and still got loads of life in them in them!
What They Are:
A nice rich blue and thick foam x2 foam toe seperators. Looking at the one I have on my toes right now these are thick, soft, bouncy foam pieces with three toe rests and of course the outer parts so your toes all have places to rest within and feel securely encased. They are not washale though and I must admit never once have I got any type of polish on them.
These are very well spaced, toe separateors and of course one size fits all. You get two of them and both are the same sized and are a wee bit loose on me but then I do have very skinny toes and feet in general to be fair however I slot them in at the base of my toes and try and wedge them put and they work for me very well indeed.
At £1.50 a pair I think that these offer great value for our pennies and that they are certainly value for money considering how often I now use mine! They wipe clean easy enough and do make precision of my toe nail poiish simpler and with less smudges to it so no I dont hesitate in recommending them to anyone and more often than not these are on some kind of offer too which is a bonus!

Anyone that has tried painting their toe nails will know how easy it is to smudge it and with myself being extra clumsy I decided to purchase some toe separators and since discovering these little helpers I have not looked back. They are a simple design yet perfect for using, there is no choice of design they only come in the colour of blue and only come with rounded separators.
They are made of foam which means they are vey comfy to hold your toes and very lightweight they are only small so easy to store and are just basic plain toe separators but as I picked them up in the sale for 75 pence I was not expecting much to be honest.
They are very simple to use and your toes easily pop in and out of this with ease. You rest your toes in them and the foam separators hold each toe apart successfully so that you can apply nail varnish easily. They can be used over and over again and even though I am quite rough with them they are still intact and work well after a good few months of use. There are only three separators but this means your other 2 toes can sit comfy on each side.
The material means they are really comfy and can be kept on while you paint your nails and while you are waiting for them to dry my feet do tend to cramp though so I find it best to take them off as soon as possible so I do not end up hoping round and smudging the varnish anyway. As they have a flat bottom they sit well while you are applying the product.
You cannot wash these as they are made of foam and this does mean my separators have now turned from blue to blue with multi colour spots as I am very clumsy with application hence the reason for needing separators in the first place.
My only downside is I found the spaces were a little wide for my feet not overly so they were unusable but it does mean they can sometimes slip out of place which is not great when you are trying to apply nail varnish carefully. I am only a size 3 to 4 in shoes and my toes are smaller than average so they would be good for a wide range of shoe size and because they are foam there is room for variable sizing.
They cost £1.50 from elf but they often have sales on so I would wait for an offer I managed to pick them up for just 75p and that was over 6 months ago and they are still going strong so highly recommended. They are cheap long lasting and get the job done what more could you want.
ELF (eyeslipsface.co.uk) quite often have a promotion of some kind going on. The products are cheap anyway, so when a promotion does start, I jump at the chance to order as its so cheap you just can't say no! I can't remember the kind of promotion it was (it might have been spend so much get so much off) but I ended up buying a whack of stuff for next to nothing, including these toe separators.

Although ELF is primarily for eyes lips and face products, they do sell quite a lot of nail products too. This toe separator sells on their website for £1.50, if you are thinking about ordering, I would just wait until they have a promo, I don't think you would be waiting long.
-- Toe separators! --
The toe separators are exactly that, something that separate your toes. It is used when you want to paint your toe nails with ease. Since becoming a mum I don't find much pamper time for myself, when I do find time I like to paint my toe nails. I'm not so much of a manicure person, but do feel more womanly when I give myself a pedicure, not sure why, but hey ho!
The toe separator is made from a soft, bright blue foam. It has three holes for your toes, of course, three holes isn't enough for the amount of toes on your feet, but the ridges carry on around the outside of each end of the separator making it comfy to put your own outside toes there.
The foam material of these toe separators mean that they are comfortable to wear for the duration of applying the nail varnish, and if you wanted to keep them on while the varnish dries too. They help to keep your toes apart while you paint each individual nail so your hand doesn't accidentally brush across an already painted nail and making a mess of it.
-- Overall --
As far as toe separators go, I'm not sure there is much difference in different separators, but these ones from ELF are a hit for me. The separate my toes well and are comfortable to use!
