INTRO
For a while now I have been using E.L.F products. They wow me every time I buy one of their good quality make up products. They are really reliable which is why I loved them - and the fact their things are so cheap , it doesn't really matter if you don't really like some of their things because it's not like you've lost LOADS of money.
WHO ARE E.L.F
E.L.F are a Makeup up company that sells their products in the UK, America, Italy and a few other countries. They are known for their good quality products and very low prices. They don't test on animals and use bacteria free synthetic brushes.
THE STUDIO RANGE
One of E.L.F's makeup ranges is the Studio range. The prices in this range start from £3.50. They are best known for looking and performing like professional makeup brands. The studio range has been compared to the top makeup brands such as Lancome and L'oreal and has come out equal to them , quality and performance wise.
THE MINERAL RANGE
The mineral range is best known for its 100% natural materials. All the packaging in this range is recyclable. This range looks professional too. The prices for this range is from £3.00 and up.
THE E.L.F's OWN RANGE
E.L.F's 'own' range is the cheapest range they sell. All of the products in this range are from £1.50. They don't look or feel as professional as the other ranges - however they are still good quality.
PRICE
The waterproof eyeliner is £1.50. It is one of E.L.F's cheaper products but it performs just as well as other eyeliners.
PACKAGING
The eyeliner comes as it is. It comes in a black thin tube which has the name of the eye liner on the side. It is shiny black and feels likes a felt tip. The lid snaps on securely so no leakages.
COVERAGE
The coverage is really good. The eyeliner goes on nice and smoothly after one stroke. I find that by doing it in small strokes on the eyelid makes the liner appear a lot more neat and tidy. It is matte black so it makes the eyes look stunning.
WATERPROOF?
I wouldn't say that this is 100% waterproof. It is waterproof to a certain extent. I put it on and went for a walk in wind and rain, with an umbrella and by the time i got home there was the signs of panda eyes however it wasn't that bad. But I wouldn't call this a GOOD waterproof eyeliner. It's just OK.
APPLICATION
The application is easy. The felt tip brush allows easy application. To apply simply start in the middle of your lash line and start by doing small strokes and lightly pressing the eyeliner on your eye. For a thicker line, tilt the eyeliner brush more so that more of it is touching your lash line.
OVERALL
Overall this eyeliner is cheap so I wouldn't expect much of it. It's not AMAZING but it does the job. It has a nice coverage and is easy to remove but if you want a brilliant eyeliner than maybe spend a little more on one of the studio eyeliners or a different branded eyeliner.
