It's getting to chapped lips season again, so I grabbed the nearest lip balm while I was standing in the queue at Boots the other day, which happened to be this E45 lipcare. I was probably attracted by the snowy white packaging and familiar blue and peach logo, so I didn't worry too much about the £2.20 price tag - I paid for it with points anyway, and it will make a nice change from the manky tin of Vaseline at the bottom of my handbag... On first impressions, there is nothing special about this product; there is a normal looking chapstick attached to plain white cardboard backing by a transparent plastic pocket. I really like the simplicity of this packaging ... Read the complete review

I bought this last winter because I suffer a lot from chapped lips and sore mouth in the winter from the cold. I usually buy vaseline but couldnt find one of the little tubs in superdrug, so went for this one. It costs around £1.49 for a chapstick size. It is in simple packaging, white with the name we all know and trust E45. I bought this because my skin is very sensitive and knew this had no perfumes, fragrances or anything to irritate my skin in it, it has also been dermatologically tested. When I applied it, it glided on really smoothly and instantly relieved sore lips. It doesnt have a smell to it or taste of anything at all, which is good for men to use ... Read the complete review

Now me being the irresistible pulling machine that I am, my lips have to be in tip top condition for all that snogging, and I often suffer with dryness and cracking, especially in the winter. I am normally a devoted slave to the genius of Vaseline, but have you ever noticed how those little retro tins are so incredibly flaming impossible to get open?! After weeks of struggling, I suffered one broken nail too many, and went on a hunt for an easier replacement. I popped into Boots, and astonished at the array of lip care available, picked up the E45 Lipcare stick. The actual packaging is pretty easy to spot - check out the picture supplied at the top ... I am someone who begins to cry in department stores and not because all the women behind the counters have such baaad makeup, but because I am allergic to the air. All the different perfumes and makeup’s and deodorants wafting rounds cause my eyes to glaze and my nose to stuff up. However perfumes and the like are not the only things I can be allergic to. I have the most incredibly sensitive skin and to be honest I never know what I am going to be allergic to next. I can get dry itchy skin from channel then be fine with Constance Carroll!!! One make I have never ever had trouble with is the E45 range. It says it is hypoallergenic and that is exactly true. ... Read the complete review

E45 cream has always been known to help dry skin and even calm some skin allergies, and of course the lipcare keeps up to the high standards that are expected. The texture is soft and keeps your lips feeling the same way. Although there is no particular taste and doesn't smell of cherries or vanilla, it doesn't lose any points in my opinion. You can by it in a tube, though I bought the small compact stick, that is great for carrying around in your pocket. There are a lot of lipbalms being produced that cost a lot of money for the size and quality provided, but i thin that even if E45 cost a lot which it doesn't) I still think it would be worth ...
