I have short, stubborn, stubby nails that I generously plaster in nail varnish during the week for work and school but when it comes to nights out or special occasions I want them looking spick and span - that's where I turn to false nails. My personal preference is the 'real life' nails that you can purchase that are only slightly longer than your own as I do not want to resemble Edward Scissor-Hands! I usually only wear false nails for a night or two as I find they become slightly annoying and can be a bit unhygienic if worn for too long, however they are suitable to wear for up to two weeks! Nail salons in my local area charge ridiculous prices for false ... Read the complete review

The thing about the Elegant Touch Brush on Nail Glue, seems to be that its cheekily disguised as being a harmless little fella, that only sticks to fake nails and very little else! Well at least thats what I thought it was like before using it. Still we all live and learn and I have learned that this cunning little bottle of nail glue is one of the super heros of the nail glue world. Elegant Touch produce the glue and are part of Original Additions Ltd. The nail glue comes in both clear and also pink varieties. The clear variety is mostly easier to find on the shelves although Super drug did have the pink last time I checked. ... Read the complete review

I have worn false nails for approx the last twenty years. I cannot do anything without them. I find them glamorous and having my nails done cheers me up. I now afford myself the luxury of having my nails professionally done. But up until last year I would do them myself. I was quite an expert but the only disadvantage was that they were prone to coming loose which could prove embarrasing. Therefore I had to ensure that I had sufficient nail glue in my handbag for any emergencies. I found many of the tubes of nail glue didnt perform an adequate job. Although many were strong, the glue would come out at a such a speed that many times I would be left with my ... Read the complete review

It is always the same, you are getting ready for a night out or a special occasion something always comes up and the last thing you want to be doing is sitting around waiting for your nails to dry.. Given the majority of nail varnishes look dry and pretty much always aren't so fake nails are usually a much quicker easier option.. You can always guarantee that the decoration is dry and that the nails are all the same length.. Then comes the problem of picking a nail glue as the majority don't include nail glue in the packet.. Or if they do it's usually the lowest grade nail glue you can buy! Picking a nail glue is difficult because you can look at them all, ... Read the complete review

I love having long nails but have a habbit of always breaking my thumb and index finger nails so end up with my nails looking quite silly when there are 3 long and two short nails on each hand so resort to using false nails to give me long nails these days. Elegant touch is a brand i have been using for around 6 years now, i first tryed there normal nail glue which i was very impressed with as it lasted a lot longer than any other glue i had ever used so when i saw this brush on nail glue i just had to try it. This nail glue is available in two different types, it is available in clear which i always buy or in pink. It comes in a 4ml bottle very ... Read the complete review
