Advantages: long curly lashes, lasts all day, doesn't clump

Disadvantages: isn't waterproof

before I start, apologies for the awful title.

and another ting, this is about the non-waterproof version of their mascara, either that or it didn't say so on the packet, and it wasn't waterproof at all. I'm thinking the first one.

I personally think that mascara?s are one of the most difficult beauty products to buy. You can?t test them in the shop, because you?d get escorted quickly from the premises. You also don?t know whether or not they?re going to be any good at all, and whether or not you are going to end up with panda eyes during winter. I didn?t have to go through the painstaking process of choosing this mascara, as it was bought for me by a friend.

I don?t know about you, but I really love trying out new products, I?m like a child in a toy shop, so I used this one almost straight away. I usually curl my eyelashes before I put on my mascara, but in this case I didn?t have time, so I just applied the mascara straight away (school mornings are lazy and rushed at my house!). It was very easy to apply and it didn?t clump, or leave little black specks above my eyelids (I hate it when that happens!). It didn?t clump at all, which I am very glad about, because there?s nothing I hate more than spider lashes.

This Mascara has quite a small brush, which I really like, as longer ones usually just leave me with lots of smudged make-up and they get in the way I find. As you can see from the picture, it?s black with silver writing on it, which you would think to be plain, but it?s actually very classy looking, which I like.

I was given this mascara in shade 001 which is Black/Black, although it also comes in brownish/black.

The mascara claims to ?triple the volume of lashes? and it totally lived up to these claims. My lashes looked really long and curly, even though I hadn?t curled them, it also separated my lashes really well, so no-more spider lashes for me.

This is suitable for sensitive eye
s, although my eyes aren?t sensitive so I can?t tell you whether or not this is true.

Is it waterproof? Not really, but considering it?s not meant to be, I wasn?t expecting whether proofed eyes. It did only smudge a little though, and I find if I just rub away the excess, it looks fine. It is also a very long lasting mascara, as I?ve never once had to re-apply it at school, where I find many other mascaras I need to re-apply once at least.

I recently bought an Avon mascara because I?ve has this about 4 months, and your supposed to throw them out after 3, but I was hugely disappointed in it, so I had to come back to my faithful friend.

It?s also excellent value for money, at only the £4 mark. So even if you detest it when you get it home, you aren?t gonna have burnt a hole in you wallet are you?

Thanks for reading, Laura xx
