      100% recommended

Frontcover Cosmetics is a brand of make up which is available exclusively in Boots. Now personnally I do not usually go for the Christmas special make-up kits as I used to think they were going to be cheap and not much use. I recieved this set for Christmas last year from my sister and thought I would give it ago. Each Front Cover kit is based on the latest seasons catwalk trends according to the website this set was 'Inspired by the purple hues seen on the Givenchy runway this season'. Inky eyes is a Winter 09/10 eyeshadow kit.

      What do you get....

The set comes in a cardboard box which has a magazine feel to the cover. The box opens in the style of a book there is a magnet along the side to keep the book sealed. When you open up the box you find a mirror on the left 1 Highlighter eyeshadow, 1 'Inky purple' eyeshadow which is a dark purple colour. 1 'Midnight' eyeshadow which is black, you also get 1 'Passion Flower' Shimmer powder which is a light purple powder eyeshadow, 1 Double ended black mascara which also has a top-coat sealer, 1 black kohl eye pencil and a double ended eye shadow applicator. On the back of the set are the instructions for giving you the perfect Inky eye look in 4 simple steps. The back also tells me that the mascara and sealer have a 6m life there is no date for the eyeshadow.

      To use...
I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of these eyeshadows. The style of them is doomed similar to Bourjois ones and at first I thought they were going to be the same but what I actually found were they were better. They are very soft and creamy to touch and you do not need much to get a good colour on your eyes. The applicators are easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow. The mascara did only last a short period of time but I will admit I was not overly impressed with the mascara anyway I like mascara to be thick and it was a little on the dull side for me. The eye shadows however are still going strong a year on.

Overall I give these eye shadows 5 out of 5 and this year I have had the Go!Go!Go! set which contains 20 different shadows which is enough to keep me going for another year and I have found that the colour shadows in my new kit are just as effective as my Inky Eye Kit.

Inky Eye cost £12 last year and if your lucky you will be able to pick up this years version from the Boots half price sale as they sell them off now with the other 3 for 2 goodies.
