      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      They Are Quite Good!

I wrote a review a while back on a Front Cover set I got at Christmas and I basically wrote about everything in the box in that one review but obviously all the item reviews werent as in depth as they would be if I wrote about them individually so thats what I thought Id do today. Starting with these "Front Cover Shimmer Powders" which i got two of in that giftset. Even though Im not a massive eyeshadow wearer I do own a lot of products in many different colours for my eyes but even when I wear them I like to stick with the colour I know look good like white, brown & black but for a night out is something different.

One a nightout I will do my make-up to match whatever I happen to eb wearing for example on my 18th we had a Tutu & Leg Warmer Night so I wore bright pink & neon yellow make-up to match my outift. Last time I went I wore a gold dress and that is where these Shimmer Powders came into play as I simply had to use them on the night!

      Useful Information:
Sadly I dont think these are available to buy individually BUT any Front Cover set you buy will have these in various colours contained in it so if you like the Front Cover range that may be worth checking out. You could have a look around online for these but I have and its all dead ends - let me know if you find them though!

These come in a range of different colours but the shades I personally own are: Desert Dust - Gold & Moonstruck - Silver.

This dust comes in a little plastic pot which is a lot like the Barry M Dazzle Dust. The powder itself looks highly pigmented and is super light and fine which means while it does feel great on your skin application can get quite messy and this can end up all over your face. I recommend applying this with a sheet of loo paper placed underneath your eye as thats how I usualy do it and Ive never had a problem. I also recommend applying this with a brush as I think it would be more difficult and more messy to attempt it with your fingers.

The colour this gives your eyes is very bold, bright and has a really subtle shimmer rather than loads of glitter and best of all the glitter actually stays put on your eyes rather than flaking off everywhere like most products like this Ive tried. Both colours are not something I would usually wear but they are actually quite versatile: they can be layered up together for a really glittery, sparkly effect, layered over other colour for a light glittery sheen, applied lighter for daywear & even wet slightly to use as eyeliner. Now even though this is described as something for anytime of day I think it is slightly too showy and glittery for use in the day I know I prefer something a bit more natural but for a nightout I fully recommend it.

This tends to last on my eyes about 4 hours which is okay I guess and if you use a primer beforehand it can last even longer than that so it may be worth looking into. If you can find these individually I say snap them up but Im not sure Id rush out to buy a whole Front Cover set for JUST these powders. They are cute and sparkly but I dont get enough use out of them to be buying whole sets.
