Advantages: it works
Disadvantages: none
This is the best lip treatment there is - simply because it works. Most lipbalms are just petroleum jelly (aka Vaseline) with setting agent and fragrance. They can act as a barrier to stop further dehydration of the lips; but can't actually have any further beneficial effect. Enter Lip Lift. This looks a bit like an ordinary balm, but certainly doesn't act like it. It's packed with ingredients like collagen and vitamin e - so it's very healing. It also plumps the lips and helps to minimise those lines that can appear around the mouth. It's absolutely the only thing I've ever found that stops my lips drying out and peeling in the winter Most importantly it sinks in to a much greater extent than you might expect - so guys can use it too. It also makes a good base for lipstick. It's much more expensive than 'normal' balms; but you need to aply it much less often. When you first get it you may find yourself applying it as frequently as those quid-a-time efforts, but it only takes a couple of days to start having an effect and then once or twice a day is usually enough It's part of a range primarily designed for very dry and ageing skin - but many of the elements can benefit a much wider range of people. If you're sceptical, order it from QVC (although it's often cheaper at island-trading); QVC will give you your money back if you send it back within 30 days if it doesn't work for you
