Advantages: Affordable, fashionable, vibrant, feels gorgeous on your skin
Disadvantages: Not many neutral colours, not available in many shops
I am a huge GOSH fan, it all started when I used to work at Superdrug (where GOSH is exclusive) and used to get 50% off GOSH products, so I decided to give them a try. Even now, long after I have left the Superdrug 'family' I still swear by alot of GOSH products!
GOSH is a danish make up brand that has been making us look beautiful for 25 years and is sold in over 60 countries today. They use distinctive packaging which is black, minimalist and has the trademark GOSH in large letters on it. The products themselves wouldn't look out of place in any make up bag.
The price varies from product to product and starts from around £4.50 for an eyeliner to around £10 for a foundation. So I find their prices competative and highly reasonable for the quality.
I will tell you a little about the products I use religiously.
GOSH Velvet Touch Foundation Primer - £9
This stuff lasts for ages, a little bit goes a long way. You put this on after letting your moisturiser soak in and it 'primes' the skin ready for your foundation. In real terms, what this means is that it makes your skin velvety soft and evens your skin out. It also shrinks pores and will leave your make up looking fresh all day.
GOSH Hello Youth Foundation - £9
This is my absolute favourite GOSH product, I can't live without it! It's available in 8 different shades so you should be able to find one to suit your skin tone. Like all good foundations it has a UV filter protecting your skin from the sun. I find that it doesn't sit heavy on my face and blends in so well that it's hard to tell I even have foundation on! Apart from those basics it also contains active ingredients which lift and plump out your skin leaving you looking younger, well rested and very fresh.
GOSH Quattro Eyeshadow - £8
You get four complementing eyeshadows in one with this product. You use the lighter shades to highlight and the darker shades to enhance your eyes. The powders feel very silky when applied and have a nice shimmery effect once in place. Available in a variety of colours there is something for every look!
GOSH Effect Powder - £5
Available in a wide range of colours these are great if you are wanting to create a more striking look. Very similar to the Barry M Dazzle dusts we all know and love. They can get very messy so make sure you apply them over the sink! The best tip I can give for these is to try applying them with a damp make up brush for a really vibrant effect on your eyes!
GOSH Velvet Touch Eye Liner - £4.50
Another staple in my make up bag. These eyeliners really do feel very velvetty when you put them on. They don't drag the eye at all so you are at no risk of damaging the sensitive skin around your eye. They come in some fantastic colours, my favourite is Funky Violet and they enhance your eyes with a vibrant, even wash of colour. I would personally say these are the best eye liners on the market.
There are plenty of other GOSH products available for you to try and play with but these are just some of my favourites. I would advise anyone who hasn't tried GOSH before to give them a go, they are well worth the money and are fantastic cosmetics that feel gorgeous on your skin!
Summary: Good GOSH go buy some already!
