I was looking around review sites trying to find a primer, seeing as my benefit primer had run out. This is part of the GOSH range for stage shows and such so it should hold up well under intense heat and lighting. I found my local Superdrug supplied GOSH make-up it was 3 for 2! Get in!
Did this product meet my expectations?

It is a matte, colourless gel that comes in a clear tube with a pump, and you will only need one pump for the whole face, which shows great lasting power, it's got a minute sweet smell, not exactly caramel but ...sweet?. It is incredibly silky and gets absorbed into the skin quickly and blends very well. A little goes a long way with this, I have now owned this product for around half a year, used it every-day, and I am not even halfway through the bottle yet. GOSH products are pricey, but this has worked wonders for me and lasted so long! It gives me an even soft base, and works even on skin that's not been exfoliated but it will show up makeup as slightly cakey plus it is perfume and preservative free! I have combination skin with an oily t zone, it doesn't feel greasy to the touch or contribute to spots, and as for lasting on the skin the first place my make-up started to wear off was round my nose, but it wasn't as noticeable. I think this would work best for heavy foundation that dries quickly such as Revlon's colour stay?The only issue I have experience was my skin reacted by giving me little bumps, not so much spots, just bumps? I stopped using this primer as a result of the spots and they went away. I then continued to use it despite the previous bumps and eventually my skin got used to it and now I have not experience the bumps since.
How does this product compare?

The only other primer I have used is benefits which is very good but I feel this gave me better results and it felt alot smoother and shiny under the makeup. Even rubbing my hands gently over my face the only texture I feel is from the powder.
What are the Pros and Cons?

Pros:
1. Long Lasting - Lasted over a year and used every day
2. You don't need alot of product - 1 pump is usually enough.
3. Silky smooth looking skin!
Cons:

1. Slight bumps appearing on the skin
2. Very expensive at £10 approx
3. It will vary on performance for different skin types
Would I recommend this product?
I would recommend it, but I feel it's one of these items that should have a tester to take home and see if you do have a break out with it. It can be hit and miss with different skin types.
