Advantages: nice colours, good consistency and handy packaging

Disadvantages: transfers a bit, quite expensive

I got this eyeshadow in Superdrug few months ago, as they tend to have 3 for 2 promotion on Gosh products and I didn't know what third product to pick. After all this time I'm happy to say it was a good choice.

This is a single eyeshadow, that comes in a thin lipstick-like plastic container. Cap is tight enough and doesn't come off if you have it loose in your handbag. Twisting mechanism is also tight enough not to allow stick of eyeshadow scroll back in when you press a bit harder on your eye lids. Container is same colour as eyeshadow inside (fairly accurate) and has a sticker on the cap with name of the shade, barcode and list of ingredients - mine is called Love that cool mint!, so a bit metallic light green-ish shade (I think all of them are called "Love that" and something that describes the colour. I'm aware of seven shades - most of them purple/lilac or brown-ish, but there may be more)

Un-twisting the eyeshadow completely reveals approx. 3 cm of eyeshadow stick in consistency of not-too-oily lipstick. It is easy to apply, although can be a bit tricky around contours - when applying it at home I use a brush for creamy eye shadow that's also fairly easily used and gives perfect results.

The colour is non-transparent, and can look a bit heavy if you're not careful, but looks perfect if applied correctly. It is easily adjusted using cotton buds if you happen to smudge it where you didn't mean to. After few hours, I found the eyeshadow transferring a little, and very slightly changing the colour as well (I presume this is due to oiliness of the eyelids) - however it's so handy to keep it with you that you can fix your make-up on the go, so not a major issue for me.
Also, I use Gosh Eye-shadow Primer quite a lot, however when on the go, I can only keep this eyeshadow in and use it as a primer for similar colour powder eye shadows - works just as well (in fact I suspect the Primer is the same thing, just white).

Waterproof-ness is not something why I would buy an eye shadow - I don't go swimming with make-up, neither do I prepare specifically for watching sad movie in the cinema, so don't really see the point. The only time when I can see this is when removing make up - I need a make-up remover, can't just use water (well, I use mascara as well so I wouldn't use just water anyway). I find it easily removed, no hassle.

It costs around £8 (can't remember exactly) so quite expensive for a single shade, however as I'm regularly stocking up on Gosh primers, it's one of those items that are ideal to add as a part of 3 for 2 deal (it's quite often on in Superdrug, I have used it plenty of times). If available like this, I will "buy" again, but would not pay full price for it.

Summary: Good eye shadow, but nothing special.
