~An illuminating make up product from Guerlain~ ************************************* Having tried a large number of powder based make up products that have promised to enhance my skin tone with the mere use of a light dusting of what is mostly talc with a few additives and some colouring, I must admit that I was mostly drawn to the Guerlain Meteorites Powder product as it looked really very attractive in store. The product is well presented and packed in to a usable and highly attractive container that stands out from the crowd, which when combined with the array of beautifully coloured pearls of colour you actually use, makes for a winning formula from ... Guerlian is a brand that started trading nearly 200 years ago. In 1928, Pierre Guerlain opened a little shop in Paris to sell perfume to his customers. It is a brand that combines tradition with innovation to produce products that set new trends and constantly meets the beauty needs of the consumer. They were one of the first brands to come up with the modern mascaras that we use today and the idea of a wash off false tan. It is a luxurious brand which sets the standard that it strives to meet as perfection. Guerlain created the Meteorites Collection so that every women who used the product could achieve a perfect complexion. The Meteorite Pearls were created ... Read the complete review

I'm so glad I have, I've wanted them for ages!! Finally got them for xmas - and here's what I think of them... These are very finely milled powder pearls in a green, pink and beige colour that blend together to create a very subtle shimmer, its definitely not a blusher as it's too light - more of a finishing touch to brighten the complexion and give it a soft glow. For me it leaves my skin with a glow without looking overly shiny or sparkly and just looks fantastic over foundation, and I can easily build it up for evening wear. Disappointingly the effects don't last all day, it needs to be re-applied after a few hours, a big shame as this ... Read the complete review

It is the staying power of this product that makes it worth the rather hefty price tag as a 33g tub will cost over the £30 mark so it is not a cheap product however none of the Guerlain product range is cheap so you expect to pay a lot for their products. Although the product name has it described as a powder it is in fact small pearls or balls of the powder (Guerlain use the phrase meteorites). The container is a pale pink / peach colour with a gold trim and pictures of the little pearls of powder on it. Inside the pearls are different colours, mostly browns and some lighter shades as well however there is a splash of colour with some green and orange ones as ... Read the complete review

I am not a huge fan of Guerlain mainly because i stick to Mac and Clarins, although i have tried a few products. My sister likes Guerlain but she has super sensitive skin and if a product doesn't agree with her or she simply doesn't like it then its passed on to me always grateful. The Guerlain meteorites powder was one of the things i got to try after she complained it wasn't working for her, i was unsure of how i would get on as i have been buying the same Mac powder for three years however the The Guerlain meteorites powder is a wonderful product. The Guerlain meteorites powder costs around £35.00. My sister purchased this product from Ebay uk. The ... Read the complete review
