      Disadvantages

      A great eyeshadow!

I love the brand that is Playboy! I own absolutely loads of Playboy make-up. Don't get me wrong though it's not the actual name or the packaging that gets me going. In fact I find the packaging of most of the products to be cheap and nasty to look at. However my obsession with the actual products grew a couple of years ago when a mate gave me something from the range and I adored it, packaging aside and from then on in this brand on quality and colours available to me is a sure fire winner every time!

Like I say I own loads of Playboy cosmetics but after recently purchasing a load of new eyeshadow compacts from 'Gosh' that set me back a fortune I tried to resist these and at £... a compact I couldn't justify it at all! However I ended up buying 4 compacts in Superdrug telling myself that, that is it though for this year and that I only have one face to paint and I seriously have to stop buying make up lol.

      The Packaging:

The compact comes in a square shaped purple and bright pink box. On the front of that box there is the brand emblem which is of course the very famous bunny head and I'm told that the product is Hollywood Nights, Playboy Eyeshadow Duo and on the back of that box ingredients are listed and contact details for the manufacturer are given. Inside the box you get a bright pink but still transparent square flip-top opening case which has a silver bunny head on the front of it and on the back of it your told the colour combination you have chosen, the size is stated (which is 2.8g) and again contact details for High Maintenance (the manufacturer of Playboy products is once again given). Like I have previously stated I'm really not overly keen on Playboy cosmetics packaging but to me it is always product that counts but having said that it serves it's purpose of course and is informative enough.

      The Eyeshadow:

Open up the compact and what you get is 2 half moon shaped blocks of powder eyeshadow separated by a small black and fine haired brush.

I love this range of eyeshadows and can't rave about them enough! None fragranced and none agitating in all three of my chosen compacts both colours mix together and blend well! They are smooth and grip to a brush or your choice or the applicator given with total ease without flaking anywhere they shouldn't thus giving a really clean and fresh look to the eyes. They go on as smooth as silk and feel it and what is nice about these is that once you have applied them and blended them well it stays put with no transfer at all.

Once on the eyes I find it stays on perfectly and bright and fresh looking until I choose to remove it all which can mean it is left on for hours. It's none creasing and none smudging and I love the range of colours these come in. The only bad thing I have to say about these compacts is the silly little, fiddly applicator that comes with them but that is a minor niggle considering how good the actual product is!

Nice for any woman of any age, unless you don't want to be seen with childish looking products! It's great stuff!

I purchased my compacts in Superdrug and paid around £6.00 each however do look about for these online as they can be found a hell of a lot cheaper!
