Advantages: Nice smell and taste and if you want a smooth trout pout look this is so for you!
Disadvantages: Feels heavy and greasy on the lips and comes off on everything!
When it comes to lip glosses I'm not really a fan of them to be honest. Usually I find them sticky and that they come off too easily and I prefer lip inks to lipsticks too cos having to re-apply something all the time gets on my nerves! I'm just not a gal like that!
The Packaging:
This usually comes in an oblong see through plastic case with a black screw on/off lid that has a slanted sponge applicator on the end of it. The version I own 4 of now came to me free on packets of Bodyform products. As far as I'm aware it's the same gloss! This offer is still on various Bodyform products, that you get a free lip-gloss too so if you fancy trying this it's worth stocking up on sanitary products as I did!
So the tube is 4.5ml in size, clear plastic and the lid is black plastic and unscrews etc. The applicator under it is attached to the tube and is simply a slanted piece of plastic with a small hole in it and you simply wipe that across the lips of course.
The Gloss Itself:
Wet and a wee bit sticky but all in all it's not too bad to be fair to it. It feels rather greasy too and tastes a little sweet and citrusy really. The taste isn't bad and it smells nice and fresh on the lips too.
It glides on rather thickly but doesn't appear it but on the lips it feels rather heavy and rather wet and I feel my lips are a bit uncontrollable! It gives like a plastic effect, it really does look wet and it feels really is very moisturising.
Sadly though this comes off on everything you touch and if your a smoker don't smoke with this on your lips cos when you pull a fag away from your lips too quickly it really does hurt and pulls skin off! lol.
Colour-wise well whatever colour you have (I have 4 colours from within this range), even if they look dark in the case or tube it goes on rather shiny and rather sheer. It adds subtle colour rather than a heavy coverage though it can be applied very evenly.
It lasts on my lips no longer than half an hour (with doing nothing at all), but basically I find this too greasy for me to bear and I don't like the way it's not long lasting and it's a gloss you have to re-apply rather too often for my liking!
Not for me this one really and it retails at about £10.00 a go! Not worth it in my opinion though if you can cope with how it feels, how quickly it disappears it is a grown up in appearance lip-gloss for sure!
Available to purchase online and in places like Boots.
Summary: Too expensive for what it is!
