The brush itself is short and stout, compacted to a tiny head of bristles. The tension within the bristles is perfect for really getting into whichever product you have on your skin, and smudging it well. The top is rounded to match the curves of the eye.

At £12, this is an expensive smudging tool. More and more eye liners and eye prducts are coming complete with their own little smudger, so a seperate brush specifically for this seems a little lavish - but I decided to buy it anyway as I love the smudgey, smokey look - and I'm glad I did.
